Positive ting
- super friendly hostess - large meadow for tents - location directly on the water - fair prices
Negative ting
- No hot meals
Excellent campsite for cyclists
I stopped at this campsite on a cycle tour through Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. I received a very warm welcome and was shown around. A big plus for those traveling with a tent are the covered areas where you can cook, wash up and eat.
I can only warmly recommend this site!

Best campsite for those seeking peace and quiet
My wife and I visited the site last summer. You can often see deer, storks, kites and kingfishers in the immediate vicinity. Very clean site, friendly welcome and delicious cakes on the sun terrace in the afternoon.
We are already looking forward to our visit this year, when we want to try out the motorboat tour to Grabow.

Positive ting
Quiet, clearly laid out site located on a small boat harbor, level pitches, electricity and water connection in the immediate vicinity of the pitch. Little vegetation - ideal for sun lovers.
Negative ting
The proximity to water makes "anti-mosquito spray" essential.
Ideal for "slowing down" - Camping Eldena
Ideal place to slow down and watch boats. Surroundings perfect for cycling. Cake fans can look forward to the afternoon 😀... delicious cakes in the small café on the square.

Found by chance and stayed
Hello,
we were traveling from Usedom on the Baltic Sea coast in May / June 2020. From Wismar no CP could accommodate us (Whitsun weekend). So we tried (in vain) at the Schwerin lakes, then stayed one more night with our Womo on a pitch. The next day "Stellplatzradar" showed us the Eldena - what a hit....
We immediately felt at home, first got the pitch we wanted in the shade, and two nights later, when it got cooler, we were allowed to stay in the sun.
Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to the coronavirus, but we enjoyed the delicious cakes every day.
So the planned 1-2 days turned into three nights.
We would like to thank you once again, albeit at the end of the following year, for this wonderful time.

Kleinwallstadt / Main

Very nice
Nice little campsite, quiet and everything very well maintained and clean. The showers had too few shelves and coat hooks, and the payment system for the showers takes some getting used to and is expensive. Unfortunately you couldn't wash your dishes anywhere. The cafe was very nice and the cake was good. Unfortunately there were only bakery rolls on one day. On Sundays and public holidays there were only simple baked rolls.

Top-maintained relaxation oasis directly on the Elde
We spent a week in Eldena. Despite it being the height of summer and the vacation season, the atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained, just like the whole complex. Our two dogs also felt very comfortable :-) Although there is no longer a restaurant in... Eldena, a small, well-stocked Edeka supermarket is only 300 meters away on foot: an additional plus! Mrs. Witte also bakes delicious cakes herself every day.

Short vacation over Whitsun 2018
The campsite is in a very tranquil location on the River Elde. The Witte family, who run the marina and campsite, take great care of their guests. We spent three very quiet days there with our motorhome over Whitsun 2018. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling and kayaking tours. The small... bathing area, which belongs to the campsite, is particularly nice. The bread roll service should also be mentioned, as the bread roll bags are always provided with a personal "Good morning!" from Mrs. Witte and the bread rolls taste good. We will definitely be back.

Positive ting
Peace, friendliness, several pitches directly on the river, beautiful ambience due to the proximity to the small lock and the location at the boat harbor.
Negative ting
There is a bread roll service and coffee and cake in the afternoon, but no catering. Stove recommended
A direct hit on this vacation
The very limited size and the friendly management of the site make for a very homely and familiar atmosphere, which is emphasized by the fact that every day you find your bread bag with a written personal morning greeting. The owner is always available for help and a personal chat

Four days of pure relaxation and nature
We come from this part of the country ourselves, but have only realized how beautiful it is here since we started travelling with our motorhome. That's how we discovered the campsite in Eldena. If you are looking for peace and relaxation and love nature, this is the place for you. We traveled with our... dog, who was just as welcome as his two-legged friends. Very friendly staff, clean and inviting site with a small harbor and restaurant. So let's get going. We will be back.

Camping with charm
At short notice, 11 of us chose this campsite as our tour destination and were delighted with the space on offer and, above all, with the dedicated and very friendly family who ran it, who were able to fulfill all our wishes despite the parallel stress of a horse-riding event. The individual design of the buildings is also worth mentioning. We would be happy to return at any time.

The good location, very good cycle paths, a very quiet place.
Negative ting
The sanitary facilities are very well maintained, but a little too small when there are lots of visitors.
Eldena is the campsite for people looking for relaxation.
I have been a regular camper there for many years. The wonderful location in the countryside, the water, the proximity to the forest, the wonderful cycle paths - all this makes this place special. Camping right next to an idyllic boat harbor is also something special. Anyone looking for peace and relaxation will feel right at home here.
