Positive ting
Peace and quiet, short distances to the beach, clean sanitary facilities, spacious, easily accessible pitches,
Negative ting
Sanitary facilities too small for full occupancy, only one single wash cubicle
Quiet, small square
A nice, quiet site that can be recommended in the low season. In the high season when fully occupied, the sanitary facilities are clearly undersized (3 showers, 1 single wash cubicle, 2 urinals, 4 toilet cubicles)
The entrance to the sea is quite shallow, a little sandy at the beginning, otherwise mostly rocky (sea urchins). You can actually leave your snorkel at home, as the underwater world is pretty bleak, i.e. there is little to see.

Positive ting
+ great location on the most beautiful bay on the island + very clean and beautiful + friendly staff + pure peace and relaxation + super olive oil from our own cultivation
Negative ting
absolutely none....
Still the most beautiful place for us....
We're not really repeat offenders, but this was the second time we'd visited the site...
We were curious to see whether the site, which was still very new at the time, could maintain its standard even after three years. In short: absolutely!
The staff are still very active. The site is very well maintained... and always clean.
Not much has changed, except that you can check in online. This actually saves some vacation time. There are valuable tips at reception and the boss is always on site and also very friendly. He makes his own olive oil, which in my opinion is very high quality and incredibly tasty. You can also order in bulk, which makes it a bit cheaper ;)
Getting there is actually no problem if you read the sign to the entrance correctly. Otherwise you have to turn off at the nearby hospital. Turn left at the first BIG camping sign. Or have a look at G....maps beforehand!
There are different categories of pitches on the campsite. In our opinion, the cheapest pitches in the upper row of tent pitches are the quietest and most beautiful. The small kidney pool is great for younger and older children. Loungers were always free, even though the campsite was full.
Probably the most beautiful bay on the island is right next to the campsite. Of course, this also attracts other "foreign" vacationers, but this is kept within limits. It never seems overcrowded. The campsite's own beach bar offers food and drinks at the usual prices. Everything is very tasty...
Overall, the island is very quiet, but also extremely beautiful. If you want, you can take the passenger ferry to Zadar for a few euros or rent e-bikes at the campsite. One tip is to watch the sunset from the ruins of the Sv. Mihovil fortress.
There is a small store with Croatian baked goods and vegetables at the campsite. But you can also shop in the larger markets on the island.

For us, this is one of the most beautiful campsites in Croatia. And also very cheap out of season... Thank you

Positive ting
Small complex, quiet, sunny, friendly
Negative ting
partly unkempt grounds, vegetable garden no longer available or usable
A little more expected
We deliberately chose and booked or reserved this place in advance. It was a friendly welcome - as was the staff team the whole time. We felt comfortable and really enjoyed our stay - especially the good weather and the exceptionally warm temperatures. The sanitary facilities were modern and always clean.... However, probably a little too small in high season. The beach bar on site was nice - the staff very friendly and the range of drinks and food very good (the opening hours were adapted to the low season - however, when we made our reservation we were told that the market and restaurant were already closed in October). There is a "pet-friendly" beach, but it was not nice for our taste. In the low season, it was permitted to take the dog to the beach - but not into the water. The island offers well-marked hiking and cycling trails. However, in our opinion, you need good shoes or good bikes - preferably MTBs. We liked the island of Ugljan for its peaceful atmosphere without any tourist frills. There are enchanting little bays everywhere in the villages (the beautiful mosaic banks are particularly worth mentioning 💕).
We don't know whether we would come back to this place again. Unfortunately, we were missing a bit of "spirit" - but we can recommend the campsite for the low season and would like to thank you for a lovely and relaxing stay.

Positive ting
+ Friendliness / Service + nice sanitary facilities + large pitches
Negative ting
- Strong odor in the sanitary building and in the surrounding area due to drains
Wonderfully secluded in a beautiful bay
We were delighted with the friendly German-speaking contact in advance. On request, they sent us a photo of the pitch (S16). We were happy to have chosen the pitch in the upper area. Very nicely laid out and much quieter, with a small vegetable garden. The approach was unproblematic. The huge pitches... are typically gravelled in Croatia, but are level and have electricity/water connections. There are olive trees on the site which produce their own oil. There are also shady spots around the pool. The pool was clean and very pleasant, especially for the little ones. The beach is beautifully laid out and has a great beach bar. The food was very tasty. The sandy beach described refers to the shallow water zone in the bay. There is coarse gravel on the beach. The sea was wonderfully clear and ideal for paddling and snorkeling. The beautiful dog beach is a little further away. There is a small mini market with a bread roll service. However, you have to be there at 8am to get bread rolls. The selection was unfortunately somewhat limited. The store also sells its own olive oil. There are plenty of supermarkets in the villages. The reception was helpful and very nice. The sanitary building was new and always clean. The number of facilities was sufficient. There is a dog shower, outdoor sink and washing machine and dryer. The site is relatively new, which explains the modern facilities. The only annoying thing was the unpleasant odors from the drains inside and outside. The operator should urgently improve this. We were glad we didn't use the sanitary facilities. The island itself has beautiful villages to explore. You can take the passenger ferry to Zadar quickly and cheaply. The castle on the island is a great place to watch the sunset.
Conclusion: Overall, the perfect vacation spot for us. We had a very nice vacation and would absolutely recommend the campsite and would gladly come back.

Positive ting
Beautiful small bay with sand, new and clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff
Negative ting
some thicker stones on the pitches that interfered with the awning, the rattling gate to the beach
Nice place for families
We stayed at this site for a week and received a very friendly welcome even without a booking. Access to the site is easy, even for large caravans. All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. As the site is still quite new, the sanitary facilities and all the other buildings are in very good... and clean condition. The campsite's small pool is also very nice for splashing around in. There is a beach bar by the bay where snacks such as burgers, salads and pizza are freshly prepared. Really good!
The bay itself is very shallow and has a sandy bottom in places, making it suitable for children.
The annoying thing for us was the gate to the beach. Unfortunately it always crashed into the lock as the mechanism was defective. However, the problem is being worked on. The second was the partly thick stones on the plot which were very unpleasant when walking barefoot despite the carpet.

Positive ting
Small and manageable campsite with all the comforts, such as pool, mini market, bread service, vegetable gardens, great beach, delicious beach bar
Negative ting
The natural pool (a positive aspect in itself) is somewhat small and can therefore easily tip over.
Super campsite with nice staff
Camping Ugljan can be reached by ferry, which only takes about 15 minutes from Zadar. The campsite is relatively new and beautifully laid out and the sanitary facilities are tasteful and are cleaned several times a day. There is also a washing machine and dryer. The staff are all very friendly, the... mini-market is well stocked and the natural pool is beautifully laid out. The beach and bar are only a few meters away, there are several sunshades and delicious food and cocktails. The beach has a shallow sandy entrance next to otherwise rocky shores. The dog beach is about 5-10 minutes away, is nicely shaded and also has a shallow, sandy entrance.
The pitches are a good size, often with a few trees providing at least a little shade. Between the pitches there are vegetable patches for free use. The mobile homes make a very good impression from the outside, are modern and nicely furnished and have a practical veranda.

Positive ting
Quiet, Modern sanitary facilities, dream beach Very friendly family team
Negative ting
Partly coarse gravel on the pitches. (Not for tents) But irrelevant for vehicles.
recommended
We were there with 2 children. Fantastic sea, very familiar small campsite. Very clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, not everything was finished yet (e.g. the store, a few little things like the shelf for shampoo in the shower...). ) but everything is in the final stages. Supermarket is nearby. Vegetables are free to pick yourself. Can only recommend the place. Very quiet.
