Positive ting
We've been coming to this campground for 8 years with our small dog, and we never fail to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the warm welcome. Plus, the food at the restaurant is very good and the service is friendly.
Negative ting
No downsides for us
If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
We can only give this place a good rating, and anyone who’s been there will either come back or never return.
It actually has everything you need, and there’s a small store nearby—about 500 meters away.
There are also two pizza restaurants nearby.

Positive ting
At first glance, the campsite seems inconspicuous. If you're looking for a quiet, well-kept pitch and don't need any entertainment, this is the place for you. The staff were very friendly and helpful The small, fairly new wash house was always clean and well ventilated. The highlight for us was swimming in the Vorderrhein, just a few steps away.
Negative ting
It would be nice if the fairy lights at the restaurant and the water feature could be switched off overnight.
Quiet and cozy
You are dependent on a car for excursions. There is no free local transport ticket.

Positive ting
Restaurant and the friendliness of the service. The pretty Melanie (boss) And the beautiful surroundings for walking or hiking.
Negative ting
Guests who cannot drive at walking pace.
Our favorite place in Trun with a dog
It is a very beautifully situated campsite in a quiet location.
We often spent a weekend there in the summer and were always satisfied.
Now we are fixed campers with a very nice place and peace.
The restaurant makes very good food can only be recommended no matter what you order it just tastes like in... a 5***** kitchen.
The service staff is always available, always nice and friendly to everyone, of course there are guests who sit for 15 seconds and complain because there is no drink on the table and the service is still busy with other tables, we had our drinks after 3-5 minutes at the latest. Even the new boss is a hard-working and super nice woman who has turned everything around and the restaurant is full every day. Now the sanitary facilities are cleaned 2-3 times a day and are always clean and well maintained (depending on the guests of course) So all in all I can only recommend this place. For tent guests there is even a caravan in case of thunderstorms - not everyone has something like this for free. The pitches are spacious for WW and motorhomes with 16 ampere electricity and water. Thank you for the always nice days with you. Best regards Udo, Regula and Xenia.

Positive ting
The pitches are very large, with green ground mixed with stones which is perfect for the camping experience. There are plenty of 16A power points for each pitch. The playground is very large and perfect for children. There is also a very large football pitch a short distance away. The toilet/shower facilities are new and very clean. WC cassettes and waste water emptying are included in the price. The site is generally very quiet. The small bistro is perfect for lunch or a snack. The owners of the site are very friendly and sociable.
Negative ting
In my opinion, there are no disadvantages.
Mega great large campsite
We always enjoy coming here. We've been here twice now and are very happy with the place.

Positive ting
- Friendly and courteous staff - Newer sanitary building, always clean and well maintained. - Rest. with fine culinary offerings
Negative ting
- really none
Friendliness, attractiveness for many great activities
Very friendly and courteous reception. Spacious pitches, even for larger motorhomes. Large meadow for tents and smaller vehicles. Newer sanitary building with clean showers / WC, which are still spotlessly clean even now shortly before the site closes on October 31. 5 minutes from Trun station and the... village. There is a bakery and a Volg store. Attractive hikes in the Surselva, Obersaxen and the Lugnez can be undertaken from the campsite. The campsite can be recommended in every respect.

Positive ting
Comfortable pitches and large meadow for tents & campervans Quiet location on the Rhine & near the train station Very friendly hosts
Negative ting
Only 10 pitches, which are also gravelled
Beautiful, spacious campsite on the Rhine in the Surselva
Situated between Ilanz and Disentis on the Rhine, the site serves as a starting point for hikes in the Rhine Gorge or the surrounding mountains. The town and train station are close by. Nevertheless, the site is very quiet. Unlike the restaurant building and the pitches, the sanitary facilities are no... longer the newest, but they are clean and functional. The pitches are large and level. There is also a large, non-parceled meadow where tents and lighter vehicles can stay overnight. A large area with permanent campers who have built their caravans into "chalets" is somewhat set apart and well maintained. The restaurant on the site is also recommended.

Dear Mr. Maisch

Thank you very much for your (basically) positive review. We were very pleased to welcome you as a guest at our campsite.

Nevertheless, we would like to leave a few comments:

1. the bathhouse/sanitary facilities were newly built at the same time as the main building, and are therefore... 4 years old.
2. regarding the parking spaces: There are currently 10 pitches for caravans/motorhomes. As has certainly been mentioned in discussions, there are plans to create further pitches.
However, these are not simply "only gravelled", but, as this is a water protection area, they have a hard surface structure. If they are simply gravelled, one could wrongly assume that they are not very stable. But as you have probably noticed with your rather large "vehicle", this is not the case.
This would certainly have been different with a simply ballasted floor.

Thank you very much for your visit and we wish you and your family a wonderful winter.

Kind regards
The Campadi Trun team

Beautiful CP close to nature
We stayed at the campsite for one night. The guest pitches are spacious, parceled out, level with meadow/gravel surface. Electricity and water on site. Both sanitary buildings are new, spacious and kept very clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome. The food in the restaurant... was very good, value for money. For the warm days there is a running water pool where toddlers can also find a nice place to splash around. The CP is a 5-minute walk from the RhB station. Therefore very central for excursions. Also a good starting point for various hikes or bike and cycle tours. We can recommend this campsite with a clear conscience and would love to come back for a longer stay.

Positive ting
New and clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful hiking areas nearby and also on a signposted cycle path.
Negative ting
It would be welcome if the view of the CP from the restaurant terrace could be protected from external guests by a natural fence.
Successful new building
Camping Trun, close to the young Vorderrhein, has been successfully renovated and rebuilt. This has separated the tourist pitches from the permanent campers. The pitches all have their own electricity connection. Fresh water is distributed around the site. Because of the new building, the shady pitches... cannot really be described as such. The sanitary facilities are clean and could be described as sufficient during our time. The restaurant is also frequented by many local guests from the village. We received a very friendly welcome and were even allowed to stay a little longer on the day of departure at no extra charge. The train station is just over a 5-minute walk away. Ilanz (the first town on the Rhine) and Disentis/Mustér can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Beautiful hiking areas can be enjoyed in the Brigel region or in Obersaxen.

Dear Fischer family

Thank you very much for your visit and your positive review of the Campadi Trun.

Thank you also for pointing out the privacy screen between the pitches and the main building.

Since the campsite was completely rebuilt at the turn of the year 2015 to 2016 (i.e. the buildings were... built at a new location, new pitches were created, etc.), the plants could of course not yet reach such an extensive size that they already functioned as a privacy screen. As this is a water protection area, we see the need to make use of growth-promoting agents.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our campsite again.

Kind regards
