Positive ting
Original, no frills, almost all pitches under old pine trees, almost always shady, freshwater pool, very tasty restaurant, cool bar at the meet - all very basic but very authentic. Sanitary facilities are getting on in years BUT were always spotlessly clean. Very quiet place, no animation or disco sounds.
Negative ting
Anyone looking for glamping is in the wrong place here. The site has a great charm, but is a bit outdated.
Location before comfort
A great place to arrive and settle down for a tour of Sardinia. Santa Lucia can be reached on foot in a few minutes and is a lovely place with very good restaurants.

Positive ting
We, a family with two small children, stayed here in August. Despite the high season, the atmosphere was very relaxed with plenty of space. The pitches are in the pine forest, the beach and the town are within walking distance. Our children especially loved the pool. The water on the beach is nice and clear. You can snorkel, windsurf or just laze around as you please. There is always a market in town on Wednesdays. We actually only wanted to stay for 2 days and ended up staying for a week.
Negative ting
Advance reservation somehow did not work out
Very nice time
We actually only wanted to stay 2 days and stayed a week. Everything was great!

Positive ting
Shady spot close to the beach
Negative ting
Showers without a proper drain
Beautiful place near the sea
As already mentioned several times, the pitches under the pine trees are difficult to access. Without a "mover", five people were needed. Otherwise, the pitches are spacious and shady. The beach can be reached via a paved path. It is next to a freshwater lagoon, which sometimes gave off an unpleasant... smell. Sea with lots of seaweed in some areas. Otherwise very beautiful. Restaurant with delicious pasta dishes and good pizza. Store was still well stocked at the beginning of September. Sanitary facilities were clean. What we noticed negatively in the spacious showers: The shower water does not drain and runs through all the showers, as the drainage channel is too high. We found this unpleasant...

Negative ting
no animation in the evening
bad camping
The pine forest is not secured, large pine cones fall from the very tall pines and are quite dangerous. During our stay with the camper in one of the pitches two pine cones falling destroyed the rear porthole of the caper and a cabinet. Most seriously, not only were we not compensated for the incident,... despite the fact that it was not a fortuitous event, since securing the trees is their responsibility, but we were taken for a ride since the manager who initially said he would take care of the compensation did not contact his insurance company and never answered emails and phone calls. In addition to this mishap, the bathrooms are small and dirty, the entertainment is absent, and it is particularly boring to stay in the evenings especially with children; we also found the pool always dirty with foliage and hair. A final negative observation is the price which is too high for the services the campground offers.

Positive ting
Beautiful beach. Sanitary facilities. Restaurant.
Negative ting
A little noisy. Not a nice and somewhat very small pitch.
Pleasant place on a beautiful beach
After arriving in Golfo Aranci on the night ferry from Livorno, we had actually had our eye on another campsite close to Selema. Unfortunately, this was located directly on a busy country road and we spontaneously decided on the Selema, which was our second choice, as it was also recommended to us in... a Sardinia Facebook group. The reception was very friendly. We were able to choose between three pitches, all three of which were a little tiny even for a VW California. The location under the dense pine trees proved to be quite pleasant in the heat, but it was also a little dark. What we did find a little unpleasant was that the site was very noisy. We also didn't like the many flies that attacked us during the day, which were then replaced by mosquitoes in the evening. On a positive note, the sanitary facilities were very nice. Not a luxury model, but everything necessary was there and the cleanliness was perfect. The beach was also very nice. Of all the places we visited in Sardinia, it had the most beautiful sand. The pool was quite nice, but swimming caps were compulsory here too, so swimming is not really fun. However, you don't really need the pool as it's only a 5-minute walk to the sea. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere. You can eat well here for normal Sardinian prices. The billing at reception on our departure was a bit adventurous. At first a lot was added on, then ultimately deducted again with a discount and was difficult to understand. In the end, we paid almost 60 euros per night for a camper van with 2 adults and 2 children. But you have to expect that during the season.

Positive ting
Location to the dream beach (if not too much seaweed) shade in the pine forest Modern and well-kept sanitary facilities good restaurant on site
Negative ting
Cramped pitches due to many trees (I would have to go there for a week with a chainsaw)
Well-run campsite on a dream beach
The campsite is located in a dense, shady pine forest near a white dream beach, when there is no seaweed. Good restaurant at moderate prices. Clean and well-kept sanitary facilities. For large caravans and motorhomes it is a bit tight in the dense pine forest. Ideal for tents, VW buses and compact camper vans

Positive ting
This space has no advantages for us
Negative ting
Narrow passage, many trees, hardly any space for larger trailers
2nd attempt
After we had already spent 2 days here at Easter, we wanted to give the site a second chance. Our bad luck was that it had rained heavily shortly beforehand. The only pitch that was halfway suitable for our team was under water and completely muddy. There were hardly any pitches for larger teams. Everyone was standing all over the place, as there was no instruction from the site staff and no parcelling out.

Well located for excursions in all directions!

Campers who only stay for one night and then pull out of a pine forest at five in the morning to catch their ferry ...
We will be back
Nice campsite with charm. Everything you need on site and the nearby sea is wonderful! Sparkling water 😍 Pizzaria was good and normal in price. Pool was clean and the small store has everything you need! That the toilets as well as the showers sometimes looked desolate was not due to the daily cleaning... but to the users who apparently have a home in the pigsty! The place is otherwise very well maintained! The mini restroom was also very nice and can be reached on foot in 4 minutes! Delicious ice cream and a good fish restaurant as well as various small food shops can be found here. There is also a kind of emergency practice on site and of course a pharmacy. We felt at home and will be back!

Beautiful beaches (directly at the campsite and in the surrounding area)
Negative ting
Price-performance ratio too expensive even with ACSI
Selema
We visited the campsite 1 week after the opening. New sanitary building, restaurant and pool were still closed. The site was still being renovated and cleaned during our stay. Narrow driveway and unparceled pitches in the forest, rather difficult for larger caravans and motorhomes. During check-out, the manager(?) was chatting with an employee, barely gave me a glance and didn't thank me.

Very beautiful, almost empty sandy beach in May.
Four nights in May
....we stayed at SELEMA. Due to ACSI Card 19€ per night. Small supermarket, restaurant, pool available. Very nice operators. German is not spoken. English is not a problem. The site is almost completely under pine trees. We stood on the lower part near a small new sanitary building under deciduous trees.... 100 meters flat path to the very nice sandy beach. The next very small village was 500 meters away. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

Positive ting
- certainly in midsummer, as all places are in the shade - long sandy beach - good restaurant
Negative ting
- Plenty of shade in spring and fall - Small pitches due to the many pine trees - the few larger pitches are difficult to reach
CP unsuitable in fall, as hardly any sun due to many pine trees
We spent the first week of October on the campsite with our caravan. After a friendly welcome, free choice of pitch, as there was hardly anyone on the road. That's when the first problem began. With my Wowa (Lüa 750 cm) I could hardly find a pitch and when I did, it was almost inaccessible because of... the very narrow and winding gravel roads. Unsuitable for larger mobile homes and vans. The pitch is completely under pine trees and therefore certainly suitable in midsummer. In spring and fall we are looking for the sun and the place is less suitable. The main wash house was partly closed, but clean and of an average standard. There was plenty of hot water available. The path to the long sandy beach leads through a small dune. There is also a small pool. I can't say anything about the beach and pool, as 1/3 of the campsite was flooded due to heavy storms and the beach/pool was very damaged. The next village is about 400 meters away, there are some small localities and a minimarket (in the truest sense of the word). A small stream/river runs alongside the campsite and so we had lots of mosquitoes. But this could also have been due to the flooding. The CP's own restaurant had no visitors apart from us that evening, but the staff were friendly and the food was good. The price/performance ratio was right.

Ideal starting point for kitesurfing on the long beach of La Catetta Good value for money
Nice shady place ideal for vacations with a dog
Clean and well-organized site in the shady forest with good access to the beach. Very long beach area ideal for kitesurfing (if the wind is there). This is one of the few official beaches where dogs are not banned, even in high season.

Beautiful camping under pine trees
Very nice campsite in a pine forest. Toilets and showers were mostly clean and hot water is included in the price. Camping store is small but ok. The beach can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes, but unfortunately in summer there is a lot of seaweed and it is very windy. We therefore preferred beaches in the surrounding area. Plenty of space on the pitch despite the high season.

quiet
nice place - quiet location
ACSI site with beautiful pool area and reasonably priced restaurant. The mini-market was not fully stocked in the low season! The pitches are shady and the electricity columns are well distributed. The sanitary buildings are somewhat older and functionally equipped - only one was open in the low season!... The sandy beach is about 300 meters away. There are 2 children's playgrounds, washing machines for hire, mobile homes and free WIFI! Very quiet location.

The campsite provides 2 kimick wc for flushing the cisterns , one of them is UNUSABLE because it is flooded with foul-smelling sewage sewage that then flows into a small stream that reaches the beach. The hygienic situation is disastrous and dangerous for the health of those who frequent the beach and the campsite . A measure is needed . Thank you

We camped at Camping Selema for a total of 8 days. We camped between trees, which provide very good, almost continuous protection from the sun. A tarp could optionally help against falling pine needles. There were no problems with ants on the campsite itself. The sanitary facilities are very new and... clean. The 8kg washing machines also seem to be relatively new. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. WLAN access is free of charge. A ladder for hanging up a tarp can be borrowed from reception. In the evening there are movie screenings at the reception. The campsite itself is relatively quiet, no loud music after 10pm. Cars are only allowed on the campsite during a fixed time slot. The campsite's own restaurant is very good value for money, with many regular guests (at least many guests were greeted with a handshake by the always smiling host). Espresso costs 90 cents, pizza margarita 3.50 EUR, fish dishes from 10 EUR. Swimming caps are compulsory in the pool. Extremely beautiful stretch of beach, which can be reached via a paved 100-meter-long path. The sand is extremely fine and clean. Medium price / performance

Nice clean place with lots of flowers and a nice pool. Restaurant offers good food. The pitches in the pine forest are very shady, so the pitches outside the pine forest are recommended in the low season. beautiful clean sandy beach and Santa Lucia in the immediate vicinity with numerous restaurants. food is expensive on site and in the village so it is best to shop in the supermarket.
