Friendly staff, beautiful swimming pools, well-kept grounds, well-stocked grocery store on the premises

The area around the cottages is partly too small to park the car, WLAN has to be paid extra
Large CP on the banks of the Verdon
We were traveling on motorcycles and rented a cottage. The accommodation was new and clean. The houses are close together and there is little space around them. The campsite is about 2 km outside the village, there is a quiet road to get there.
In the evening there is entertainment in the large square at the entrance.

We had a stay at the Domaine du Verdon campsite in September 2021 and I forgot my iPhone, which was charging in the socket, when I left. I immediately called the campsite and asked for my phone and charger to be returned to me. I also sent a shipping label that I had paid for. I was informed that the... I-phone and charger had been found and would be sent to me immediately. I am still waiting for this today! Several attempts to contact me about the whereabouts of my I-phone were unsuccessful. The cell phone was worth €1200 at the time! In response to my messages asking when I would receive my property back, I was constantly put off; even by the management! I haven't heard anything for 2 months now, let alone received my cell phone back! Even an offer of alternative compensation has not been made. Great service from a 4 star campsite!

Location directly on the Verdon, short walk to Castellane, great starting point for exploring and excursions on the Verdon. Perfect for children.

A dream on the Verdon
We spent a week in a mobile home on the campsite. A huge place that offers something for everyone: Children's playground, sports equipment, fishing pond, picnic area, pool area. The site is right on the Verdon. You can walk to Castellane on foot. The campsite is a great starting point to get to the various... bathing spots on the Verdon or the Lac de Castillion. Entertainment for all ages. Store and restaurant available on site. Very friendly staff. The site was well-kept and clean. We can highly recommend the site.

Nice place in a good location but old sanitary facilities
We had problems finding our pitch as the number is assigned twice. In the low season there is a "main pitch" and nearby a "parking lot" with the same number. In high season, the "parking lot" is rented out as a separate space. Wi-Fi is a lottery of luck on our pitch, despite full reception. The sanitary... facilities are very old, only in the area of our pitch 452 were the showers new. Mainly French and Dutch people on the site, which makes it difficult for German children to make friends.

bonjour, c'est la première fois que je vais laisser un commentaire peu sympathique pour un camping, pour commencer l'accueil a été catastrophique, meme pas un "passez un bon séjour" beaucoup d'arrogance, de + notre emplacement (réserver depuis plusieurs semaine) mesurer pas moins de 40 m2 contre 80 annoncé... sur notre réservation. Then there are the toilets, we were near the S3, out of 15 toilets only 1 had a seat and no soap, + they were at least 20 years old (tiles), but very clean. For the pools they are the size found in private homes (for a campsite of 400 pitches, I'll let you imagine (impossible to do 2 swims.). My sister wanted to join us for 4 days, so we asked them to reserve a pitch for her, only to be told at reception that the campsite was full and that she would have to check in on the day of her arrival to see if any pitches were available, without being able to be sure of availability. during our stay, however, we noticed that many of the pitches remained empty throughout the 15 days (anti-commercial management). the best for last, we arrived at the bar at around 11pm, and the gentlemen with the hat explained that it was too late to serve us after 11pm, which was normal. we moved to the restaurant next door, and found that it continued to serve some customers after 11pm and under our noses (the staff was just like at home). we've been camping only in 4-star campsites for a few years now, to be sure of quality. this campsite hardly deserves 3 stars. so at your own risk. cordially. We ended up here as a family and overnight guests because you could see the swimming pool with the slides from the street. When we checked in, we were surprised by the price of €44 for one night for a car, caravan, two adults and two small children in low season. When we asked about the unclear price... list, we were told that there were other campsites! Second disappointment: the slides in the pool are only open until 6pm and only from 12:30pm, so not intended for overnight guests. Oh well. The location is very nice on the river, but also directly on the busy road. There are some nicer, friendlier and cheaper accommodations in the surrounding area. We are therefore happy to pass on the recommendation of the campsite staff: look for another campsite

Positive ting
Beautiful location on the river, ideal starting point for motorcycle tours. Good chicken from the grill.
Negative ting
Sometimes a bit unfriendly, no swimming shorts allowed, swimming is forbidden.
Used for a short time max. 3 days.
Ideal for riding the gorge on a motorcycle. We weren't allowed in the pool as we didn't have swimming trunks with us, just shorts. No problems anywhere else.
