A very scenic site. Unfortunately, maintenance and care have suffered greatly if you look at the pictures on Google Maps. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Very small and simple but very OK.
This place is very suitable for exploring Sofia on the one hand and for driving through the Iskar Gorge and doing a bit of hiking on the other. Communication is via Google Translator and you have to bear in mind that everything is kept very simple. No glamping here. However, the warmth of the owner makes... up for a lot and you also experience a little bit of original Bulgaria in the surroundings. Dogs are everywhere (outside) and unfortunately bark a lot. Less than in RO but still enough. The location is superficially very picturesque by the river. However, the river is halfway covered in algae and there are plenty of mosquitoes that want to bite.

A small campsite in Bulgaria
It's a small campsite in a poor country. You can't ask for the moon. Of course, there are better campsites, but they do what they can here. There are lots of little things here, and that's what I like about it. A little swing, a sort of teepee, little tables, a barbecue... A warm welcome from an old... gentleman. That's my 5 stars. The river looks like the Ganges, I didn't use the sanitary facilities and nothing else. Camping-car - 24h only. Difficult access for a large vehicle.

Fantastically beautiful location, directly on the river
Very friendly welcome, easy communication with Google Translator. We were lucky, no noise pollution as in the previous comments. Sanitary facilities in order, probably waiting times with higher occupancy. 20€ for one night WW+2 people. A better price was promised for longer stays.

Very simple small facility
Small campsite in an idyllic location on the Iskar. A little noisier than expected due to barking dogs (apparently a permanent condition in Bulgaria), the main road on the other side of the river, neighbors sawing continuously (with a blunt saw blade).... Difficult to communicate, as operators are very... willing but do not speak any foreign languages. Size: 1 toilet, 1 washroom with 1 shower - all very basic.... Electricity is available. Distance to the next ATM approx. 6 km, to the next restaurant and shopping facilities approx. 3 km. Sofia is about 30 km away (or more)
