Very quiet campsite with dated but clean sanitation
only 1 shower for a possible ~100 guests is a pity (there are 8 toilets for women)

Pure idyll
Beautifully situated in the loop of a small river. No electricity at the back (except with a very long cable) but pure idyll. The main square of the village with the most important stores can be reached on foot without traffic via the "parcours santé". There is a huge SuperU in neighboring St. Bonnet. A typical "camping municipale", where someone only drops by in the evening to collect money.

The box tree along the footpaths has been totally destroyed by the white grub. Unfortunately, it looks very ugly.
Pure tranquillity
There is no noise. The pitches are comfortable and most are bordered with hedge trimmers. There are bakers, butchers and groceries in the village. Cluny, Taize and Cormatin are accessible by bike on roads with little traffic. Very reasonably priced.
