Beautiful place
Very nice shady place with swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are not so perfect - sanitary facilities as usual: French sparse and M/F/D mixed. And the swimming pool a bit small, but the shop has what you need and the proximity to Uzes and the sights of the region is great. Access road from Uzes a bit narrow but that's common in the area. The risk of forest fires could be felt.

Shady CP in a quiet location in Provence
The campsite is in a quiet location in the middle of fields, approx. 5 minutes by car from the small medieval town of Uzès. The site offers plenty of shade under old trees and is a good starting point for visiting the sights of the region (e.g. Uzès, Pont du Gard, Avignon, Nimes). However, we were not... convinced by the quality of the sanitary facilities. Overall, the showers, toilets and individual wash cubicles are too narrow and cramped and poorly lit, there are hardly any storage facilities and the only hook in the wash cubicles is broken in many cases. Toilet paper is only available in separate dispensers in the anteroom. What bothered us the most, however - although this may be common in some places in France - was the lack of separation for men and women. However, the facilities were generally clean. The food supply on the pitch is limited to ordering bread for the next day and a small selection of regional wines, otherwise there are a few tinned foods for emergencies. As the quality of the sanitary facilities is an essential feel-good factor for us, we will probably not book the campsite again despite its good location.
