Positive ting
The spaces are large, there's a bread roll delivery service, the pool is great, the staff is friendly, the price is okay, and it's close to the castle.
Negative ting
The restrooms are located underground. Men and women share the same bathrooms. The same goes for the toilets. No toilet paper. The facilities are completely outdated. In this day and age, that’s an absolute no-go. Using chemical toilets is just as bad—it always made me feel nauseous.
Rating
The restrooms are absolutely terrible.
Men and women share the same space—
an absolute no-go; it's filthy, and there's no toilet paper either.

Positive ting
There's a pool, friendly staff at the front desk, and shade in most spots. The parking spaces are quite large.
Negative ting
Depending on the situation, the cable might not reach the outlet; we had to bridge a distance of about 40 m. Also, no CEE plugs.
A good place for travelers passing through
The restroom facilities were fine—they even had toilet paper, which, as we all know, isn't common in France. It's a place to stay for one or two nights, but not really for longer stays.

Positive ting
Ideal starting point for Carcassonne
Negative ting
WLAN
within walking distance of the beautiful old town
Easy to reach from the highway and an ideal place to discover Carcassonne. To our delight (we are traveling with caravans) the pitches are not only separated by hedges but also very large.
Friendly welcome, bread roll service, sanitary facilities not separated by gender, basic French, but always clean during our stay and spacious cabins.
It takes about 20 minutes to walk along the river to the old town.

Positive ting
Spacious plots
Negative ting
Water everywhere lukewarm at best, long paths, muddy. Typical transit site, most of the disadvantages generated by the guests. 1 - 2 nights here and after me the Sindflut.
Beautiful plots, otherwise inadequate
Typical transit site, spacious and beautiful pitches. Rest inadequate.
Best starting point for visiting the Cité.

Positive ting
Beautifully situated on the outskirts and large plots
Negative ting
So far all good but the w-lan is not available in the whole place only around the entrance area. This is better on other pitches which are larger and there is still very good reception in the last corner
Pity
We stayed at the campsite for 2 nights to see the castle and the town. That means only one day completely the other to check in and then drive on again early.

Transit campsite near the castle
Nothing special, but ok as a transit campsite. Castle can be easily reached on foot. Small snack bar on site.

Positive ting
15 minutes walk to the fortress
Negative ting
-Impractical and wasteful taps -Too little hot water on the sinks
Nice quiet campsite
Flat meadow area with beautiful trees. The generously sized pitches are divided by laurel hedges. Unfortunately, the hedges are currently infested by a parasite, resulting in a very foul-smelling odor spreading through the pitches. (as of April 2018) The mixed sanitary blocks were clean during our stay. Beautiful view of La Cité fortress from the rear of the site.

Positive ting
Carcassonne...within walking distance
Negative ting
A lot of arrival and departure.
Nice transit campsite for visiting Carcassonne
Beautiful, recommendable campsite with everything you need and more. Everything is clean and tidy. Actually a place for a longer stay...but most people come here to see Carcassonne and leave after 2-3 days. Ergo relatively much movement....

Positive ting
No search for a parking space
Negative ting
expensive
Prime location for visiting the old town
Beautiful modern place near the old town. This can be easily reached on foot (approx. 15 min) on a beautiful path along a stream. Well lit in the evening. Clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, no free pitches and generally very expensive. There is even a large dog meadow within the site for dogs.

Positive ting
Top location - 20 minutes to the Cité Large parking spaces Children's playground Friendly reception
Negative ting
Waste garbage can?!? Sanitary facilities: toilets, showers, washbasin in one room; quite few; unkempt Outdoor pool closed at the end of Sept.
Within walking distance of the old town
We were at the campsite at the end of September. The reception is very friendly, the pitches very spacious. And as a starting point for visiting Carcassonne, the site is perfect. However, the price-performance ratio was not right for us. The sanitary facilities are inadequate and not clean. The swimming pool was already closed. We searched in vain for garbage cans on the site.

Positive ting
Proximity to the festival, shade
Negative ting
It is loud on the side facing the road when a car drives past
Great base for sightseeing, but also a really good place
Plenty of shade, good sanitary facilities, 2 swimming pools, what more could you want. You can easily walk to the fortress and into town.

Positive ting
City tour possible without traveling by car
Ideal for sightseeing
I found the default parking space in the low season irritating, but otherwise nice, friendly service. The town can be reached on foot in 20 minutes, no need to look for a parking space. Very quiet, clean and well-kept.

Positive ting
- Close to the city - Easy to reach on foot or by bike
Negative ting
- high prices for larger families - too few speed-reducing measures (unfortunately not everyone knows how slow you have to drive)
Large squares near the city
Surprisingly large pitches close to the town. Good connections, on foot or by bike, to the city of Carcassonne. Rather a place for short stays, as the prices are more on a Swiss level.

Positive ting
Location close to the city, friendliness, pool, . . .
Great place for city visitors
Very friendly staff. Beautiful, easily accessible pitches separated by hedges. In the evening you have a wonderful view of the illuminated Carcassonne from outside the site. The town can be reached in 15 minutes on foot for sightseeing. There is a small pool, play equipment for children, boules courts, a small store and a nice entertainment/show in the evening. A very good and inexpensive place for a visit to Carcassonne.

Positive ting
The proximity to the fortress of Carcassonne
Negative ting
Restaurant is mediocre and expensive
Unusually good urban campsite in France
well, we only used this campsite for one night each to visit the fortress of Carcassonne. Ideal as a footpath (15 min) leads to the fortress. At night from the campsite you can still take beautiful pictures with lighting of the fortress. Sanitary facilities clean and good. In the high season you should... be there at 1500 o'clock to get a pitch. According to their own statement, they are very often fully booked. WiFi free of charge throughout the site. This is a service. In the commercial area (5km) supermarkets with cheap gas stations, information is available at the reception.

good for Carcassonne visitors
Very tidy site with large pitches, mostly shaded; sanitary building good and clean, but with an unusual layout; free Wifi throughout the site (slow); the castle of Carcassonne can be reached on foot in 20 minutes on a side path along a small river; advance payment (no refund for early departure);
