"As always: everything is great - Camping Janse has retained its advantages for us over the years. Good pitches with drainage, electricity and TV. There are clean sanitary facilities with spacious showers (cost 50 cents per wash), which are also very clean in the high season. The sandwich store on the adjacent pitch has improved its range. There is a playground for children, recreation rooms, a reading corner and occasional entertainment. There are plenty of things to do. For those who don't want to cook, there is Neptunus on the steps over the dune with good food at local prices and friendly service. There is also a restaurant opposite the campsite. Zoutelande with its supermarket, restaurants and stores is only 1 km away. A bicycle is very useful here and the car can stay put. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Information is available at the reception. You only have to cross the dune and the cycle path to get to the beach, there are several providers of beach huts - booking in advance is recommended. Very nice at Camping Janse: no dogs :-) We are looking forward to our next summer vacation at Camping Janse.

"Well-run campsite right by the sea - The site is very well run and everything is always well maintained. The sanitary facilities are always very clean and in good order, even if they are now a little older. If you like it, you can get a partially paved pitch. The pitches are perfectly drained and absolutely level. There is neither a restaurant nor shopping facilities on the site. There is a beach pavilion on the steps to the beach, which offers good food at local prices. The sandwich store on the neighboring square only offers baked goods. The supermarket (1 km - can be reached by bike) has better baked goods but if you are lazy ... To get to the beach you have to climb about 120 steps over the dune and along the cycle path, which is also used recklessly by very sporty e-bikers. But you don't have to cross any roads. Beach huts can be rented in the village if you don't want to lug your beach gear over the dune every day. All in all, we were impressed by the campsite: quiet yet child-friendly, close to the beach, no dogs, no fuss. Zoutelande and Westkapelle are also not far away. And you don't really need a car here - you can do everything by bike.

"Highly recommended - Jansen is a superbly run, clean campsite with a very nice mobile home section. The sanitary facilities are first class and the operator is friendly and open-minded.

"Beautiful place near Zoutelande - The campsite is located directly behind the dunes within walking distance of Zoutelande. There is a beach pavilion in the immediate vicinity. The pitches are generously sized. Partly paved with a small paved terrace and a meadow area. But there are also beautiful grass pitches. Everyone should find something suitable here. High hedges and trees provide some protection from the sun and wind. Overall, the site is very well maintained and the paths are partly newly paved. The sanitary building is spacious and very clean. There is a small kiosk with fresh bread rolls right next to the site. We find the 50 cents for showers and the surcharge of €2 (per night) for the upgrade to 8 amps suitable for electric kettles a little out of date. But that's the only point of criticism. The operators are very nice and the campsite is definitely worth a recommendation.

Profil

Holiday at camping Janse, is a holiday ............ real close to the sea! On the beautiful peninsula of Walcheren, also named “the garden of Zeeland”, you can find camping Janse. Just 2 km away from the village of Zoutelande and …at the foot of the sand dunes. The beach is dirctly behind the campsite, a few minutes walk over the dunes brings you to the beach. On our neatly kept camp site, all of the pitches are approx. 95 m2, with well cared for grass areas. There are no annual or seasonal pitches, which adds to the atmosphere. For the children we have a nice play area, an animal corner and a sand pit. Further you find a jeu de boules area and a covered area “Jansje” where you can borrow books, magazines, games and toys during your stay. During the holiday period, there is a recreational team three times a week on the campsite. We also have chalets for rent. The campsite is on the bicycle route, walking paths and roller skating paths are nearby. Rather travel by bus, the busstop is outside the campsite, where your discovery trail can begin. Holidays on campsite Janse is a holiday, truly near the sea. Dogs are not allowed on the campsite.
