Short distances to the wash houses. Very well maintained and very nice staff. Quiet location and yet close to the A7.

Great and quiet place
The site has many permanent campers who live separately with a hedge.
There are pitches for transit traffic but also for guests who want to stay longer.
Overall, the site is in a quiet location, very well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The paths to the wash houses are short and... everything is very clean.
There is a "camper lounge" which offers food and drinks to eat in or take away.
There is also a small pool.
We are a family with teenage children and not very demanding.
We were very satisfied during our stay and would love to come back.

Not just for an overnight stay
We visited the campsite in Illertissen for one night from 08.04. to 09.04.
The Illertissen campsite is perfect for a stopover for one or more nights. The operators are very friendly and helpful. There is a small store with a bread roll service. The campsite also has a snack bar with indoor and outdoor... seating. We liked the food, currywurst and Viennese-style schnitzel with chips.
The rear sanitary building has been newly renovated. It is clean, well-maintained and the showers are spacious. The pitches are also spacious, the grass on the pitches is mowed short, as it should be! We didn't use the electricity connection or the water supply and disposal.
We will certainly visit this campsite again.

Very unpleasant experience due to treatment and huge list of rules at campsite
The reception was extremely unfriendly, almost hostile (especially the owner and two of the employees treated us this way). We got the feeling that by the grace of God we were allowed to pitch on an almost empty camping field and were immediately given a sheet of paper with camping regulations in our... hands.
Instead of a spot for two small tents of 2m x 1m we were charged for two spots for large tents, we heard later from a friendly employee. A refund of money paid in excess was not possible.
We first booked for one night. I was told that I had to stop by the reception before 11 a.m. the next morning if I wanted to rebook. When I had decided to do so and was there in time to rebook and pay, I was told that I could come in the afternoon from 2pm and no later than 7pm, at this point it was absolutely impossible. Not very nice when you are going out all day, or rather want to go out. I could not get a reason for this from the employee. The next day I wanted to rebook again (since there was no other campsite nearby, otherwise we would definitely have left immediately): same story; only come back in the afternoon after 2 p.m. to rebook and pay. Again, no reason was given. Later another, more talkative, employee told me that new bookings, including additional bookings, could only be accepted from 2 p.m. onwards. Bizarre!
I did not like the price-quality ratio, also considering the fact that on top of the high tent- and step price I also had to pay for internet and had to come and get a new login code every 24 hours, and pay of course.
I found the place where you can eat something very unsociable, in terms of decoration, and while eating you had a view on the entrance of a toilet building whose doors were wide open. Anyway, the campsite has no atmosphere at all.

Very well-kept small campsite with sufficient pitches at the end of the season. Probably rather quiet due to the latter.
Negative ting
The reception was rather cold and unwelcoming. Despite prior booking, the feeling of being tolerated remained. The introduction was more than sober.
Mixed experiences
The negative impression was only due to the initial contact. If you don't include the lady at the reception, it would be a full 5 stars!

The most convenient location: not far to the highway, short distances to shopping, the cleanliness, very nice staff obviously everyone is having fun, great opportunities for cyclists and walkers, the Vöhlinger castle is worth a visit...

Positive ting
The site was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The toilets, showers and other facilities were super clean and freshly renovated. There is a small breakfast service at the kiosk and the bistro serves tasty food. You can go on great excursions from here or explore the surrounding area by bike.

Gladly again at any time
We were here to visit relatives. In the end we were visited on the site and the children had great fun. We would love to come back, we felt completely at ease and safe.

Spacious pitches, large meadow for overnight guests, no need to unhitch. Bread roll service and nice guest lounge where you can eat and drink. Sanitary building very clean and modern.

I can't think of anything. Maybe a little more outside light in the guest lounge.
Beautiful campsite, not just for overnight stays
We were only there for one night on our way home and had a very special experience. After a very comfortable stay in the 'lounge', I left my handbag hanging on the chair and didn't notice it as we drove on.
Almost 400 km further on, I got a call from the campsite warden to say that they had found the... bag. It was a matter of course for him to send the bag by post at no cost to me. It had all my cards and ID and a lot of money in it and it was all there! So much honesty is no longer a matter of course these days and definitely deserves a mention.
I am very grateful to Mr. Moser and his team.

Magnificent campsite
Super well maintained, absolutely clean down to the smallest corner, modern wash houses, really nice staff and top pitches! We stayed there for 2 nights and are so impressed with this small but fantastic campsite. 8 stars would still be too few.

Intermediate destination to Lake Garda
The Illertissen campsite is easy to reach from the A7. The site is very well maintained, the wash houses are clean and modern and the late reception was very friendly.
We got something warm to eat in the camper lounge and were connected immediately.

Ideal place to stay overnight on the A7
Just a stone's throw from the A7 and therefore an ideal place to stay overnight. Pitches on a large meadow for short-term overnight guests. Very modern and new sanitary facilities with free hot water in two wash houses. You can visit the camping snack bar (only beer garden gastronomy and Go Go) but you... don't have to. The adjoining hotel has a very good restaurant and a very nice beer garden but is quite expensive. Short overnight stay also possible with late arrival and without uncoupling for caravan teams. Reception and staff very friendly, although too pedantic and precise with the pitch instructions. You have to stand close to your neighbor, even though no other campers arrive late at night. Quite outrageous for over €35 (2 people) and has something of the character of a motorhome pitch. Nevertheless, a good tip for tired Trasit campers.

Quiet place and yet suitable for a visit to Ulm.

Camping on the Iller near Ulm
Very well-kept and orderly site. Friendly staff. Sanitary facilities new and very clean. Restaurant right by the entrance. Camper lounge for snacks and simple menus, also to go.
