Positive ting
- Really nice location - beautiful pitches - QUIET
Negative ting
- Unfortunately, the algae growth makes it almost impossible to swim. The plants creep almost to the surface everywhere.
A GREAT PLACE, unfortunately no swimming possible...
Beautiful camping in the off-season
Absolutely off-season in Sweden. This site offered peace and quiet on land and on the water. The site is on an island and the pitches are always divided into small "streets". In which it is cozy. However, the paths to the wash house are sometimes longer. You can hire... pedal boats, canoes and go-karts on site. Mini golf can also be played. The reception team is friendly and helpful. We did our laundry here, you book a time slot and are given a key for this time, no matter how many machines. It currently costs SEK 40. The place is great after the ferry trip from Visby. Even after reception closes, you have access to your tickets through the keybox. All the pitches have a view of the water in one way or another. The wash house is in good condition and the sauna facilities are also in good order. We spent 5 nights here and felt comfortable. Unfortunately, there is no WLAN from the pitch.
We used the CampCard from First Camp and had the 5 nights for about 114 euros, for which we were quite satisfied!

Positive ting
-the location -the offer on the pitch - the pitches with water view
Negative ting
- only one wash house for all campers
Great location in the middle of Sweden's nature
A great location. We arrived in the evening after taking the ferry back from Gotland. Everything was easy to arrange via the key box despite the reception being closed. We stayed overnight at a special price with the FirstCamp Camp Card. It was also easy to change the duration at short notice. We had... pitch C7 right by the water in a cul-de-sac. We really liked the location surrounded by small rocks and forest. There was also plenty for the children to do on site. The wash house was ok, was cleaned regularly and had enough toilets and showers for the low season. When the site is full, it can get cramped and quickly overcrowded. Some used the site as a transit site to the ferry to Gotland - as well. Everything worked out great! Unfortunately, the bistro had already closed and the store was no longer stocked. Unfortunately we have to expect this at the end of the summer. We would come back again.

Positive ting
The location is great!
Negative ting
Obviously day visitors can come for a swim. They left garbage behind and were noisy.
beautiful location on a "peninsula"
The location is the main selling point here, with a sunbathing lawn on one side, footbridges leading into the water and a thick rocky coast on the other. Ladders were attached to the rocks in some places so that you can climb into the deep sea. There is also a diving platform: 1m, 3m, 5m, 7.5m and even... 10m. Pitches a bit cramped by Swedish standards, car, caravan + awning just about fitted on a standard pitch. Sanitary facilities were okay, access with a card (as usual on many sites), sufficient toilets, the showers were too few. Unfortunately, there was no real area with washbasins (e.g. for brushing teeth). This was only possible at the few washbasins, which in my opinion were intended for "washing hands after the loo". There is a great children's playground with bouncy cushions, a restaurant with occasional live music, bread rolls in reception and quick check-out. The nearest Lidl supermarket can be reached quickly by bike or on foot, as can the harbor. However, we were impressed by the fantastic location and view.
However, not a bargain in the high season....

Positive ting
Plenty on offer for paddlers, anglers and nature lovers. Oskarshamn can be easily reached by bike in 15 minutes. Excursions to the nature reserve possible.
Negative ting
Sanitary facilities quite old and dirty. Shower curtains and doors that do not close completely. Wash house was not cleaned for 2 days during our stay in high season. Too bad, the place has so much potential.
Idyllic location, but sanitary...
Beautiful site, located directly on an archipelago off Oskarshamn, surrounded by water. The site is very winding, with pitches in the sun, under trees and also right by the sea.

Positive ting
Location in the archipelago, pitches, nice playground, great lido
Negative ting
Wi-Fi only for a fee and did not work
Small, beautiful, wonderfully situated in the archipelago.
A small, cozy campsite located on a peninsula in the Baltic Sea archipelago. The pitches are varied, meadow, under trees, in the rocks or small bays. There is a restaurant, store, very nice minigolf course directly in the archipelago, bicycle rental, boat rental. A very nice playground right by the sea,... jumping cushions for kids, bathing bays, diving tower. The sanitary building is centrally located and modern. There is a small TV room next to the scullery. Wifi only via extra payment.

beautiful grounds good bathing facilities
Beautiful facility
The campsite is beautifully laid out and, despite its size, you can find quiet pitches in the Oskarshamn archipelago. There are several bathing facilities and a 10 m diving platform. There is a restaurant, mini golf and a kiosk with sandwiches. There were several bouncy castles for an extra charge (day or hourly ticket).

Positive ting
Great location directly on the Baltic Sea, nice staff, good pricing, modern and clean sanitary building
First Camp Gunnarsö on the Baltic Sea near Oskarshamn
Definitely one of the best pitches on our tour of Sweden in 2017! Nice staff, even changing pitches was no problem. There are marked pitches, but you are quite open and free under trees or directly on the archipelago. Everything you need and more is available. Adventure minigolf, pedal boats, swimming... facilities with diving platform, outdoor chess, a kiosk, a great restaurant with very good pizza and absolutely moderate prices for Sweden and much more! The sanitary building is centrally located and very well equipped. There are even toilet cubicles with their own washbasin and mirror. Right next to it is the scullery with cooking facilities etc.! Showers cost an extra 5 crowns for 4 minutes and are booked on the card you get at check-in. W-LAN is available for a fee with good coverage and speed.

Positive ting
Friendliness of the staff, location
Pleasantly surprised
On our tour of Sweden we spontaneously wanted to spend a night (without a reservation). Of course, there was nothing available. Nevertheless, we were able to spend the night at the Quickstop site. As we liked the whole site so much and the staff were extremely keen to find a solution for us, we ended up staying for four days. The site was definitely one of the best on our tour.

Positive ting
Close to the ferry to Gotland
Experience with TentTrailer
The only reason for us to stay here is the proximity to the ferry to Gotland. Reception not very friendly and helpful. Allocated pitch very hard, almost no pegs in the ground. But only a few steps away from the archipelago and no pine trees overhead from which the cones fall from a great height. The... sanitary facilities work with a kind of code card that is read out when you check out and the showers are then recalculated. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the best place for you.

Positive ting
Schell on the Gotland ferry
Negative ting
The many trees, partly rocky ground and the poor cleaning of the toilets and showers.
A good choice for a few days on the way to Gotland
The reception was nice and friendly, the site consists of several fields with pitches. Most of them are under large pine trees, birds with weak sphincters sit on them, and pine cones fall onto the roof from a height of up to 8 meters, so you are awake. Part of a population of toads, which is not popular... with all the ladies, sometimes take shelter in the awning when it rains. There are plenty of sanitary facilities, but the regular cleaning is very superficial. The site is ok as a base for Gotland and for trips to the Kingdom of Glass and Öland.

Positive ting
Very nice location Great view of the Baltic Sea
Negative ting
Algae, bathing ban and unpleasant odors
Beautiful campsite with a great view of the Baltic Sea
We liked the campsite very much. The view of the Baltic Sea was very nice. Unfortunately, the bathing pleasure was spoiled. Blue-green algae wherever you look - oh dear, the operator can't help it. It really stank - a shame really

One of the most beautiful places I know. Very nice pitches, very spread out and not in rows. Plenty of shade everywhere and lots of swimming opportunities (even for small children, there is a natural pool in the rocks which is only about knee-deep and warmed by the sun). My children (5 and 7) never want... to go anywhere else, they spent the whole day on the wonderful rocks. Everything reminded me of a vacation on Saltkrokan. Some of the paths to the sanitary facilities are quite long, but we didn't mind. We've been there 2 years in a row now. I'll never forget the wonderful view of "the blue maiden" and the Baltic Sea. We will definitely be back.

A very beautiful place integrated into the archipelago landscape. Wonderful tranquillity and fantastic views. There are various bathing options with a diving platform or a sandy beach. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception, but only speak English and of course Swedish. The sanitary facilities are old, but were cleaned several times a day.

Nice place in a pine forest directly on the beautiful archipelago coast. Natural bathing area with diving platform and swimming ladders on the rocks. Although we got one of the last free places, we never had the feeling of being overcrowded or cramped.
