this is a nightmare
it is a nightmare to rent a place in this camping, if you kann name it a camping …
the bathrooms are like ruins left from the WORLD WAR ll old and unsanitary , ( theu are washing the toilets and the sink and the floors with the same mop and water ) bungalows also like ruins. the whool camping ist full of rats

The location is fantastic and the sea is wonderful. too bad it is practically left to neglect, in the water you can find all sorts of objects from road signs to car tires, pieces of plastic, footwear and more. As for the bungalows, they were built at least 30 years ago and so they remain, I don't think... any kind of renovation or modernization has ever been done, they are exposed to the sun all day and so they get as hot as an oven, but fortunately they are equipped with a fantastic ceiling fan that serves absolutely no purpose!!! The only result had from its use was to sleep in the heat and wake up with a cold. Just to make you understand the state of the facility I bring some examples: The switch for the ventuilator consisted of an electric clamp that replaced the control wheel. The bathroom mirror was kept hanging on the wall with a string attached to a rusty nail. The coat hooks inside consisted of nails and screws planted on the walls and at the closet. the stove (outside) was completely ruined and old not to mention the fact that out of 3 burners only 2 were working. I overlook the fact that in case of rain, you have to bring all the cooking equipment inside because it rains under the veranda that is separated from the roof of the bungalow. And finally, I warn everyone that in this campground THERE ARE NO RULES or at least no one enforces them: it is scheduled quiet time from 14:00 to 16:00 I can guarantee you that these are the noisiest hours of the day, if you want to rest, do it from 16:00 to 17:00 no one will distuyrber you (of course do it outdoors because the bungalow is impractical because of the temperature). I honestly think that if there was more respect for the rules and they spent some money to renovate the village it would be a great place. (Unfortunately, we are in Italy and we still complain that tourists prefer to go abroad).

First of all: if you're expecting luxury like in northern Italy, you're in the wrong place. Very simple but daily cleaned sanitary facilities, a beautiful but narrow sandy beach with crystal clear water. The site is small, the rather small pitches are covered with mat roofs. You actually have a beautiful... view over the sea to Stromboli everywhere, we were particularly lucky with the tent to get a pitch in the 2nd row. The campsite is rustic, but very cozy. However, with a little Italian you can make wonderful friends here - we were the only non-Italians on the site and "absolutely have to come back next year". Most of the guests are Italians who have been coming here for 20 years and all know each other. A large table is sometimes set up in an alley and people eat, drink and party together. At night, however, it is quiet - the only exception: the owner of the neighboring beach bar thought he absolutely had to have a loud disco until 3 a.m. on the Saturday before Ferragosto - but that was the first time (according to our Italian friends) and hopefully the last. Small restaurant with a menu typical of the country (lots of fish and seafood) at reasonable prices (4-course Ferragosto menu incl. drinks 20 euros/person). The access road is quite steep - the campsite is situated below the rocky coast on a terrace. The greengrocer comes in the mornings, pastries can be bought in the restaurant, croissants are also available in the beach bar, which is not part of the campsite. There is a large Conad supermarket directly above the campsite on the coastal road - you can really get everything you need for your daily needs there. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea - but we had a great time and will definitely be back!
