Positive ting
Very quiet. Beautiful pitches, some with a view of the river Allier, but you can't reach its banks due to the steep embankment. Nice management

Access on gravel road. Shopping facilities further away.
Rural campsite on the Allier
Situated in a secluded location directly on the Allier River, this campsite offers peace and relaxation above all else.
You should have done your shopping beforehand, as you are far away from any such infrastructure here.

Dangerous shore without swimming opportunities
Directly on the water does not mean that you can also swim
It's actually quite a nice campsite right on the Allier. The only problem is that there is no access, the bank drops off steeply by about 1 meter and the current should not be underestimated. We therefore consider a stay with small children on this site to be dangerous and strongly advise against it. The sanitary facilities are OK, even if, as usual in France, there are no toilet seats and paper.
