Positive ting
Restaurant, pool, large spaces, all kinds of activities for children
Negative ting
no extra tent meadow, restaurant closes at 19:00, relatively expensive, old sanitary facilities
Perfect for families with small children
Not suitable for cyclists with a tent, you have to rent a complete pitch even with the smallest tent, as there is no meadow for tents. This was relatively expensive at €39 for one person. I asked for electricity, but it was only available at the site from the high-voltage socket (no Schuko). The campsite... is designed for families with children, and it's great for that. The restaurant closes early and serves burgers, chips and pizza, which is fine. The sanitary facilities are outdated, but were clean.

Positive ting
Clean, lots of green, lots of water, very good play and bathing facilities, large pitches.
Negative ting
Dogs only on a lead, the meadow is a narrow, long path with no opportunity to let the dog run around. Teenagers are offered nothing.

Hello, we visited Platz de Vergarde over Whitsun 2016. The general condition of the site is very positive, the greenery is lush and varied. A paradise for children up to the age of 10, older children have far fewer options on the site. Sanitary facilities are a little older, mostly clean, but everyone... is powerless against the occasional piglet on the pitch. The pitches are generously laid out and well maintained. Dog owners have the problem that dogs may only be kept on a lead and are not allowed in the plentiful water.
