Camping de l'estuaire is a very nice campsite on the Gironde estuary. Unfortunately, we only spent one night there on our way to Portugal. The location is very quiet in a marshy area. The site is very nicely laid out with a large pool area, so you can also spend a quiet vacation here. The pitches in... the street behind the reception are equipped with water and waste water connections. The surroundings of the Charente Maritime landscape are magnificent. Fields, vines and small forests in a hilly area. We were only able to enjoy this on the way back to the campsite. French standard sanitary facilities. Standard, clean. Attention: Approx. 3 km before the campsite, follow the signs to the campsite, not the navigation system, otherwise you will end up in a one-way street. From the highway A10 Paris-Bordeaux it is 19 km from exit 37. It takes about 30 minutes to reach the campsite via some narrow side roads.
