Good place for sightseeing Tours
The site is easy to reach from the highway, we had booked a larger pitch for our trailer with water/waste water for €41.90, there are only 2 and they are full in the sun, so it wasn't worth it for us, but we were able to switch to a larger pitch without water/waste water under trees.
There is a small... Intermarche about 1 km away and a great bakery and butcher's shop in the village. Bus to Tours or to a large shopping center directly in front of the campsite. Free WLAN sometimes worked, sometimes not. Sanitary could be a little cleaner, but was o.k., we had on two evenings from about 20.00 clock to 23.00 clock an odor nuisance (fecal stench) from where we could not determine. The swimming pool and large sports field (badminton etc.) should also be mentioned.

Positive ting
We stayed at the campsite for one night in 2021. The reception was very nice. WC and showers clean. Beautifully situated by the river. On foot over the bridge into the small town. Very nice market square with colorful hustle and bustle. The castle was unfortunately closed due to Corona. A restaurant around the corner. Highly recommended. I also liked the swimming pool. There is a small coffee corner on the campsite. We want to go again this year. Unfortunately only for one night.

Campsite by the river. Don't forget mosquito spray.
Small and fine. We liked it very much 👍
It's a shame that we only visit the site for the overnight stay. We are already looking forward to the trip to Euronat in 2022, when we will book our overnight stay for the outward and return journey.

Stopover
Used for an overnight stay. Very good sanitary facilities, even a small pool. Located near highway and RN. Large supermarket within walking distance. Will certainly visit the site again to explore the Loire castles around Tours.
