Positive ting
The view over the water; good fishing spot. Super clean sanitary facilities. Only 10 minutes cycling to Meppel. Fine cycling area.

Fine waterfront campground.
campsite on a widening of the Drentsche Hoofdvaart, close to the pleasant town of Meppel.
Friendly and helpful owners.
Great for fishing.
Good base for beautiful cycling tours; including to the National Park Weerribben/Wieden and the Holtingerveld near Havelte.
Bicycle maps and tourist information available at the reception.
The somewhat dated sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day.
Next to the campsite is an excellent restaurant.
