The Dutch owned camp-site is situated in the beautiful area between the rivers Tarn and Aveyron, where every hill-top surprises you with a nice view. The near-by situated Cordes sur Ciel (5 min.) is called the most beautiful medieval village … of France. Here you can find a number of monumental buildings, but also cosy restaurants, shops and galleries. The somewhat bigger town Albi (15 min) is an important tourist-attraction. The town centre is a very nice mixture of past and present. Walking on the medieval bridges you’ll see the impressive cathedral Sainte Cécile and the museum of Toulouse-Lautrec, but there are also many modern shops and a lot of restaurants and terraces. Directly from the camp-site and in the nearby surroundings there are numerous possibilities to make beautiful trips by foot or bicycle. In the reception of the camp-site you will find enough information of the region for day trips. You will surely remember the beautiful sunset from our camp-site but also the nice views, the spacious plots and the relaxed atmosphere are striking. Every morning the baker brings fresh bread, there is a cosy terrace to drink a cold drink or to eat a simple meal and in the reception you find a small shop for forgotten errands. Whether you choose a plot under a tree or one overlooking the lovely new pool, the modern sanitary block is always nearby. It’s also possible to rent a luxurious mobile home (with air-conditioning) or a caravan. In high season the children will enjoy themselves very well. The older kids can play table tennis or football and the dropping is very popular, the small ones are going with the animation team on exploration, bake pancakes do some pottering or join in one of the many activities. Regularly we organize canoe trips on the Aveyron and the nearby Cap d’Écouverte offers a lot of activities . On our web-site you can get a good impression of our campsite and the surroundings
