Positive ting
Large pitches with open meadow in front. Very clean sanitary facilities. Very friendly reception.
Negative ting
Toilets, showers and wash cubicles are not separated from each other down to the floor. The A3 highway can be heard quite clearly in southerly and westerly winds.
Beautiful, spacious campsite with good sanitary facilities
The site is very spacious. All pitches are level and have a clear view of the large meadow area. The generally heavenly peace and quiet is only disturbed by the highway, which can be heard quite clearly with its roaring noise in southerly and westerly winds. In the sanitary building, all the cabins are... housed in one large room. The cabins are not closed all the way to the floor and the shower water flows underneath. However, this is not a problem as all the facilities are kept very clean. Sights such as Arnhem, Doesburg etc. are not far away. Many beautiful cycle paths are directly accessible. All in all, a highly recommended address.

Positive ting
Quiet location, with direct access to cycle paths and hiking trails. Great clean sanitary facilities. It is cleaned 7 times a day.
Negative ting
So far none. Only the advertised bread roll service is more complicated than expected. You have to pre-order the goods online and also pay online. Otherwise there is nothing the next day.

Fast connection via the A3(D)/A12(NL) or train via Emmerich!
Negative ting
The nearest bathing lake is Braamtin approx. 8-10 km away

An old country estate, which is being rebuilt with a lot of love and heart and offers peace seekers and nature lovers the right place! Located on the German/Dutch border, the surrounding area offers plenty of culture (APX Archaeological Park Xanten), nature of the Lower Rhine (in the Netherlands the... Montferland and the Hooge Veluwe), sports (mountain bike trails through the forests), shopping in the cities of Arnhem, Nijmegen, the Lower Rhine region (Emmerich, Kleve, Bocholt and Wesel)! There is something for everyone! A visit is worthwhile!

Very well-kept, park-like grounds. Spacious pitches; plenty of open green space even when fully occupied. Extremely dignified, thatched, always clean sanitary building with individual wash cubicles, showers for families with children and everything you need as a camper. Hot water for showering and washing... up is charged to the cent via a chip that is topped up at reception. Nice playground. Friendly and helpful managers who also speak good German. All this at "normal" prices - only the car on the pitch costs extra. Ideal starting point for bicycle tours along the Rhine near Emmerich or for hikes in the neighboring forest area. We came from the Ruhr area at the beginning of June 2013 to relax for a few days, expecting a rather "average" pitch and were extremely pleasantly surprised. We will certainly be back.

Very nice, quiet campsite located right on the border in a wooded area. Ideal for cycling trips or hikes. Very good, clean sanitary building. Friendly operators. We love going there.
