Peace, space, clean, green, pool, sea nearby.
Peace and yet something to do!
Camped there with children (9 and 12). Beautiful spacious place for our family tent. Found rest and there was also plenty to do, on the small campsite (pool and table tennis table) and in the area.

Small scale, cozy and an oasis of tranquility!
Small, cozy campground, an oasis of tranquility and large sites (150/250m2!) Good and easy contact with fellow campers. Clean sanitary facilities (on 2 locations), showers a bit on the tight side. Nice small pool with sun terrace for young and old, unique for a campsite of this size. Approx. 12 large... easily accessible camping pitches and about 5 mobile homes for rent. International campers, including Dutch. Reservation possible and necessary in high season! Pitches are as a rule sunny, with and without (partial) shade. Water points and sanitary facilities close to the pitches. Washing machine available (no dryer). Good WiFi is available everywhere and free of charge. There is a large and beautiful facilities building for all kinds of activities (TV, games, crafts for the little ones etc.).Sale of homegrown vegetables. See also the informative camping website. Friendly and convivial owners (Béatrice and Claude), who besides their agricultural business (greenhouses with vegetables and beef cattle) also organize activities on the farm or campsite for guests and children. In principle, they will stop the camping after season 2016 due to retirement. The area around the campsite is very suitable for short or long walks and bike rides through the 'marais', 'bocage' and to the many 'plages' which are about 8-20 km away. The area is generally flat towards the coast; further inland it is hilly and excellent for cycling. Very good cycling maps/routes (see: 'Vendee Vélo' and at the tourist offices); information material available on the camp site. Limited facilities in Soullans, extensive in the beautiful seaside resort with boulevard St.-Jean-de-Monts at approx. 8 km and even more in Challans at the same distance. Beautiful places in the (immediate) vicinity: St.Jean-de-Monts, Notre-Dame-de-Monts, St.Hilaire-de-Riez, St.-Gilles-de-Croix-de-Vie and certainly the historic Apremont (hilly for cyclists). Also the island of Ile-De-Noirmoutier at some distance.
