Positive ting
Great as a stopover, beautiful river, good food, friendly staff, many different campsites, and plenty of space
Negative ting
A lot of people coming and going; on weekends, many locals come to the beach to swim and party; getting around the area is only possible by bike or train
Great for a short stay—it's clean, and the river is beautiful
We spent a weekend at the campground, and unfortunately there were a lot of large families making a lot of noise, but since the campground is so big, you can still find a quiet spot. The river is amazing— the colors, the crystal-clear water, and the swimming spots are a dream. The restaurant right by... the river is a wonderful place to sit, and the food is delicious. you can buy bread rolls there, but unfortunately there’s nothing else on the campground itself—though there’s a small supermarket within walking distance. You don’t hear much from the train tracks. It’s easy to go for walks in one direction, but the route through the village isn’t really recommended because of all the dogs (including those off-leash), Otherwise, there isn’t much to do, but it’s perfect for relaxing. There’s also a pool, and the restrooms are clean—you have everything you need. It was lovely here.

Positive ting
Quick and easy check-in. Spacious campsites with electricity and water. There are both sunny and shady spots. The small pool is great for a quick dip. The restrooms were fine, too. They accepted the Campingcard. We’ll definitely be back.
Negative ting
Some spots require leveling blocks to stand upright
Great place
We only stayed here one night on our trip to Croatia. The staff was friendly and nice. The campground was busy, but there were plenty of options for finding a suitable spot. The food in the restaurant looked very good. For nature lovers, a swim in the river is highly recommended. This campground is worth keeping in mind for a future visit—highly recommended.

Positive ting
Location on the river with a variety of bathing options, value for money, good cuisine in the restaurant
Negative ting
No camping store
River adventure playground
Camp Slapic is a super organized campsite where you can feel the effort to give your guests a perfect vacation. The site is huge, but the pitches are concentrated around the restaurant and the sanitary buildings, many are right next to the river and we also discovered some tents on unparceled pitches.... The site is well frequented, but there were no problems getting a place in the restaurant; the sanitary buildings are large enough. The site is constantly being cleaned and leaves are removed - the site looks very well-kept and clean. In the restaurant you get huge portions for reasonable money, it tasted great. The staff are "on their toes". In the morning you can buy bread rolls and pastries in the restaurant, there is a grocery store on the opposite bank of the river in the village. There is a clean pool with free sun loungers, but the highlight is of course the river Mreznika with small islands, rapids, waterfalls, fish and mussels, water lilies, travetine pools and shallow areas with (be careful!) quite sharp-edged stones. There is a sunbathing area with footbridges, steps, a mill wheel, Tarzan ropes for jumping into the river - a real adventure playground. You can go fishing, canoeing and SUPing - the river is simply fun to explore. The prices are 50% of the coastal prices for a pitch. A really recommendable site for which you should plan more than one night's stopover.

Positive ting
We spent over 2 weeks at this campground with our trailer tent. Even though we had booked quite late, we were still able to pitch on a nice spot by the water. The pitches are quite large and there are no real boundaries marked. At the reception, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The sanitarium is always clean and the showers are nice and hot. We ate several times in the camping restaurant. Here you cannot make reservations, but there was always room. The river is beautiful! Super clear water, many islands and waterfalls. In short, great swimming, supping, jumping in the river at several points. It is handy to have water shoes. Picnic stuff on the sup and we were so a whole day away. In the vicinity is not much to do. You can rent canoes and sups everywhere. The nearest big city is Karlovac. Here is everything you need to find, the center was completely in ruins and there is little else nice to see. However, there are several castles on the outskirts. In one castle there is a restaurant where we had a delicious meal. Furthermore, there are beautiful waterfalls where we have been. Zagreb is nice to visit. The Plitvice lakes are beautiful!!! A day at sea is also good to do. Many camping guests are passing through or do not stay very long. We had a great time here! (In Croatia there are no large cans of campingaz, you can't fill or exchange them anywhere. In supermarkets and hardware stores are only disposable gas cans to get.
Negative ting
No gas cylinders to get (campingaz)

Positive ting
The possibility to choose your own pitch on the beautiful large tree-lined site. Direct access to the paradisiacal river and very clean sanitary facilities.
Negative ting
Everything is fine, nothing to complain about.
Great campsite on a beautiful river
My first and certainly not my last visit to this great campsite.
I was there in August with a motorhome, trailer with motorcycle trailer, kayak and MTB e-bike. A large tree-lined site where you can choose your own pitch, great. The biggest surprise for me was the absolutely unique, crystal-clear, incredibly... paradisiacal river. An absolute dream for bathing, swimming and kayaking.
I will be there for a few weeks in 2022 from the end of May.
Absolutely recommendable. Actually, you shouldn't spread the word.

Positive ting
Very well-kept place to swim in the pool or to relax.
Negative ting
Everything fits
Not only suitable as a stopover but worth an extra trip
A large, quiet site with various pitches or free on grass. With and without shade. Clean facilities. The river is crystal clear green, now at the end of June about 25 degrees, wonderful for swimming and great for children to play in. The restaurant is also very good. The ambience is also good. We always stay longer than planned when we're passing through because it's so beautiful.

Recommendable
Suitable for all types of camping. Free standing directly by the river or on spacious pitches with electricity. Just the right campsite for our taste, where it wasn't boring for our adolescents and we parents still had our peace and quiet in nature.

Courteous and helpful
We arrived at the campsite and were given a very friendly welcome. The facilities were explained in perfect German and we were provided with cycling maps and books for cycling tours! (On loan) When we had problems with the bike, the computer of the e-bike went crazy, we were given a competent address, albeit in Zagreb, with a few phone calls, but again we were helped in a very friendly and competent way! So we had a great vacation!

Positive ting
Free choice of pitch, stable power supply, hot water in the showers
Negative ting
A lot of commotion from arrivals and departures until late at night. Very loud at the weekend due to locals. Lack of maintenance of the sanitary facilities
Idyllic place for an overnight stay
A very beautiful and idyllic campsite with one BUT:

We actually only wanted to use this campsite as a transit campsite but ended up staying three nights longer.

However, once a campsite is declared as a transit campsite, it is very difficult to get rid of this reputation. Unfortunately, there is a... lot of hustle and bustle late into the night due to people arriving and it is also very noisy in the morning due to people leaving.

The vehicles of our own staff and many guests literally fly over the campsite and the staff usually start maintaining various things at around 9pm. There are hardly any rules here.

The cleaning staff try to keep the sanitary facilities clean all day long. Unfortunately, the cleaners do not succeed, as a cloth with water does not achieve sufficient cleaning.

There is a small store in the village. This is within walking distance. Only in the store there are bread rolls and other things.

There is a restaurant on the square itself, which was very busy.

The village youth gather daily by the river. Also on the campsite grounds. For small children it is then unreasonable.

Conclusion: nice site with mediocre clean sanitary facilities.

When it rains, the meadow quickly becomes muddy.
As always, perfect for a stopover
We were there for the second time on our way through to Dalmatia. Spontaneously stayed two days longer. Really nice place. Only the approach via the country roads is always an experience. No store on the site, but there is a bakery nearby. The restaurant is recommended. In the morning a bit of a disturbance because of the departing campers, otherwise everything was fine.

Beautiful campsite in the middle of nature
Very nice location. Very friendly reception. We had free choice of pitch and were able to choose a pitch for one night where the whole team could stand. Sanitary building large and very clean. The site is very well maintained and there is also a restaurant where you can eat cheaply and well. There is also a bread roll service in the morning, bathing area by the river or in the pool. We stayed at the campsite for one night while passing through, were given a friendly welcome, we were free to choose our pitch, the sanitary facilities were always clean, the cleaning lady was there until late in the evening. The site has a nice restaurant and a small bar.small supermarket 500m away,... bread service early.... Located directly on the river. Since this year they have a pool, not huge but enough to cool off. Everything very nicely decorated. All in all TOP, will come again...

Positive ting
Clean and inexpensive place for transit or longer stays
Negative ting
Access in wet weather
Very nice place to visit the Plitvice Lakes
The campsite is located near Karlovac. South of it is the Plitvice National Park with its famous waterfalls and lakes. The site makes a new impression although it has been around for quite a long time. The sanitary blocks are modern and clean. The pitches are large and partly shady. In the newer part,... the pitches are unparceled and the ground is a bit spongy when it rains. The access road consists of a 12% incline with a 90 degree bend. In wet road conditions, it is somewhat less passable for front-wheel drive vehicles.

Pure nature
We have been to this campsite several times when passing through and have been very impressed every time. You find absolute peace and quiet in the middle of nature where you can relax as well as enjoy leisure activities such as canoeing or kayaking. The campsite is large and naturally designed. The sanitary... facilities are clean and adequate. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food at fair prices. The river is great for swimming and fishing. A great place for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet.
