Positive ting
Nice place right on the beach, shaded by trees. Good food in the restaurant.
Negative ting
The sanitary facilities need to be better cleaned and maintained and when showering you are up to your ankles in water.
Camping
A nice place with potential. Too expensive for 34 euros at the end of September, very steep approach.

Great vacation
We discovered the camp by chance as we had previously been to Simuni and didn't feel comfortable.
Beautiful family-run campsite with very good value for money. Very nice operators. Very good restaurant. The access road can be reached without problems with larger motorhomes and trailers, don't be put off by other reviews.
Will definitely be back on vacation there.

Maten og vertskapet var spesielt hyggelig.
Negative ting

Positive ting
Quiet place with a great fish restaurant and Croatian ambience!
Negative ting
There is nothing that is disadvantageous, unless the guest needs hustle and bustle and proximity to the city, then this campsite is not recommended.
Fantastic campsite - ideal for relaxing!
The campsite offers everything you need to relax. It is one of the most beautiful places in Croatia. The peace and quiet on the campsite and the exceptionally good fish restaurant with its wonderful ambience make your days some of the best of the year.

The hospitality of Nada and Alen, the owners of... the campsite, deserves special mention. They fulfill your every wish and make even the impossible possible :-)
Furthermore, the entire staff of the campsite stands out from many other campsites. Always friendly and helpful, all day long from early in the morning. The cook, for example, responds to requests and, like the hosts, tries to make everything possible. The sanitary facilities are always clean.

Simply a dream vacation!

Positive ting
Location, friendliness, food, facilities
Negative ting
Pitches quite difficult to access for trailers, small pitches
A feel-good camping spot
We ended up here by chance. The first access road, coming from Zadar and recommended by Mrs. Google, I didn't dare to take. The "right" one 100 m later (signposted!) is also quite exciting with a 12.20 m trailer. The lower pitches should only be considered with a strong towing vehicle - you have to get... back up again. Apart from that, the site is well-kept, cozy and manageable. Sanitary facilities? Yes, there are 2 showers and toilets for each gender. Cuddly shower curtains, but everything is clean. Only a few meters to the secluded beach (gravel). Alen, the boss, cooks something delicious every evening, you have to book in advance. There is what there is - or just a grill plate, around 13-15 €. The site is more suitable for motorhomes than for caravans!

Positive ting
The peace and quiet, our shady spot, the great food. ideal place, far away from mass tourism
Negative ting
Demanding access for large caravans
Arrived as guests, left as friends.
Camp Miocic 2021 was recommended to us as an insider tip. Having traveled by caravan in Croatia for many years, we were excited to see what awaited us. And we were not disappointed. We have Nada, Alen, Gregor and Phillip to thank for a wonderful vacation. We really enjoyed the warm family atmosphere...
very much. Alen the boss, who finds a solution for every wish and every problem and cooks delicious national specialties off the menu. Gregor, the king of the grill, who also grilled our self-caught seafood for us, and especially the enchanting Nada, who holds all the strings in her hand and fascinated us with her lovely nature and her extensive knowledge of medicinal herbs.
Thank you for letting us get to know you.
We would love to come back.

- very quiet location - very clean - very good kitchen - very nice and friendly staff - centrally located for excursions in the surrounding area
Negative ting
- At the beginning we found the slope very strenuous but towards the end we got used to it
A dream vacation in a dream location
We stayed at this wonderful place from the end of August to mid-September.
It wasn't love at first sight.
The warmth of the hosts enchanted us right from the start.
We found the peace and quiet we needed at this place to relax and forget about everyday life.
We were also able to do sports from the beach... with the paddle boat or the SUP.
The dog beach was also easy for our dog and us to walk to.
In the evening we ate very well in the taverna.
The host was responsive to the guests' wishes.
The family business always endeavored to provide us with a pleasant stay.
The sanitary facilities were always very clean and well maintained.
Thank you for the always clean showers and toilets as well as the whole place.
We will definitely be back.

Thank you Gregor, Alen and Nada for letting us be your guests.

A jewel!
It's nice that places like this still exist in times of mass tourism!
The campsite is a jewel that is looked after by its operators with great attention to detail and nature. Hospitality is written in capital letters and practiced daily. The cuisine and barbecue are an unforgettable experience. Everything... together creates an atmosphere that could hardly be more beautiful for a vacation and relaxation.
Dear Nada, dear Alen, thank you for the unique time we were able to spend with you.

Restaurant on site is excellent Partial water at the pitch Pitches in the lower area well shaded. Supermarket within walking distance
Negative ting
Parking lot by the beach and harbour directly below the tent pitches/camping bus sites. Pitches in the upper area with little shade
Family campsite with a great konoba
The campsite operators are very friendly and helpful. We were even loaned a mosquito repellent.
The sanitary facilities are clean, but perhaps a little small when the place is full.
Alen's octopus peka was brilliant and the fish was also very tasty.
However, we didn't find the sea as beautiful as further south.
In the morning a car came to the harbor with fruit and vegetables.

Positive ting
A small, quiet, idyllic and very informal campsite. Outstanding local cuisine is served in the lovingly designed restaurant.
Negative ting
It was very windy, which was apparently a rather unusual phenomenon at this time of year. Tough luck! The pebble beach is ideal with children, but we love the Croatian rocky beach.
A lovingly managed and uniquely designed campsite
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Camp Miocic. The operators, Nada and Alen, were very attentive and warm in their personal interaction. Alen catches some of the fish and seafood himself by hand, which is served in the beautiful restaurant in the evening.
We found the quiet and informal atmosphere... great for leaving the stresses and strains of everyday life behind us and relaxing.
My biggest concern is that we might not be able to get a place there next time because of the good rating.
All in all, we were completely satisfied with our stay there.

Positive ting
Quiet, right by the sea, clean, friendly family who run the hotel, German-speaking, good food, pitches both sunny and shady
Negative ting
Poor road conditions, laborious approach and departure via the road
Fantastically beautiful place! Nice operator! Lots of peace and quiet!
Camp Miocici is an operator-run site owned by a friendly couple. It offers plenty of pitches for motorhomes (some right by the sea) that offer both shade and sun. There are also some nice tent pitches under fig trees. The sanitary facilities are clean and easy to use, the shower water is hot and not... time-limited. There are four flushing facilities, centrally located. The food in the restaurant is excellent, the host family is friendly and German-speaking. There is also a German expatriate who offers very interesting day trips in the surrounding area. There is a rental stand-up paddle board available on site. Many pitches have their own water connection, here you just have to look where one is. Disposal is via a separate toilet. There is a small corner store above the campsite where you can buy everything you need for your camping holiday. The only disadvantage of the site is the very steep and bad road down the hill. The operator has been trying to repair the damage here for years.

Direct beach location Very good food Very friendly staff Quiet location
Relaxed and informal; right on the Mediterranean Sea
Very nice and small campsite right on the Mediterranean. There are several pitches for tents and camper vans on a stepped slope. Alen gave us a very nice welcome and briefed us. The food in the restaurant is excellent, local and very cheap by German standards. The fish is fresh! The site is characterized... by many shady plants/trees and bamboo as well as olive trees, whose oil is also used to prepare the food. A definite recommendation without reservation!

Vacation!!!!!
There is no other way to describe it, it is exceptionally familiar!!! This place is better for womo than for wowa, small plots but fantastic. We ourselves are with a wowa with 7.5 m that is the limit he looks a bit out of the plot. Nevertheless gladly again.

Nice friendly hosts, great location, clean well-kept place
The perfect place to slow down
We were there last September and were so impressed by the friendliness of the hosts and the beautiful place. We will definitely be back for a few days this year. The cozy terrace with restaurant simply invites you to linger and the food is very tasty. There are olive and fig trees all over the campsite. The beach is quiet and clean. Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. A little insider tip for us 😊

Positive ting
Quiet, clean, 50m to the sea. Inn on site
Negative ting
Think it is booked out quickly, dogs allowed on the site, but not in the water, but we were promised by phone. We left the next day
Great little family-run campsite
A very friendly operator greets you at reception. In my case, he speaks German very well and is very friendly. The pitches are clean but vary a lot in size, but he tries very hard to give the larger vehicles a large space. A small pub on site with a cozy atmosphere, very nice. Dogs are allowed on the... site, but not on the beach in high season. In the low season they are tolerated and there are no problems. If there really is a problem, there is a 2 km long strip of shore where you have plenty of opportunities to get out of the way. There is a nice slipway and a harbor for boaters. Unfortunately, I don't know how and whether you can rent a mooring. Me and my dog really like it...

We didn't find any during our 2nd stay either
We will be back
We stayed here for the 2nd time - this time in August 2018 for 18 days. Our opinion has not changed from our 1st review in August 2017. By the way: we have already booked for 2019 :-) It's a small, clean, very lovingly run campsite. Ideal for campers looking for peace and quiet, not for entertainment... junkies who need animation on vacation. The campsite is very clean, the pitches are small but adequate. You are not the guest of pitch number so and so here, but you are addressed as a guest by name - the operators know every single guest. Suggestions are gladly accepted and, as we were able to see for ourselves this year, implemented :-) The staff and the owners are very friendly and helpful across the board. We actually always like to visit other campsites, but I think the fact that we have booked for the 3rd time in a row says enough. If you don't like it here, it's your own fault. Dear Nada, dear Alen: please keep up the good work!
