Positive ting
We stayed at the campsite over Whitsun. Highly recommended with children or dogs. We had a great pitch at the harbor, there is a beach bar, restaurant, dog meadow and dog bathing area, swimming lake, pedal boat rental. A really great new playground, children's entertainment and children's cinema, new sanitary facilities and you can also order bread rolls for the morning. Special thanks to the reception and Thorsten Becker, all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Positive ting
A CP under renovation, what to expect. We arrived and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. So this was already a very good welcome. The pitch was quickly found right on the water with a view of the harbor. We felt very comfortable. A very nice campsite that we will definitely visit again. The entire team at the campsite was always available during opening hours and was always able to help. You have to expect restrictions, especially during the renovation phase. That's why there were also mobile toilets/showers and no WLAN available. The whole team is really very good 👍. Therefore full points.

Very good campsite
The CP is under reconstruction so some things are not finished yet. We felt comfortable and that's all that counts. We will definitely come back again.
The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to find a solution.

Maple meeting in Vlotho
Since 2024, we have always held our maple meeting in Vlotho on the weekend after Whitsun.
The site is also well suited for events with large groups.
We will be there again at the end of May 2026 with around 120 vehicles and 260 people.
There's something for everyone, young and old. There is even a dog meadow.

Beautiful campsite
We were there spontaneously with the motorhome for 3 days a week.
A very nice campsite, sanitary facilities are very clean.

After the new takeover of the campsite, the mini golf course was unfortunately demolished. And replaced by a huge playground. And another one is to be built.... Very nice for children but teenagers or parents now have nothing.
The cigarette machine was also removed, allegedly because of the children. I can't understand that because you couldn't get anything without an ID card.

We felt ripped off. Thursday was a public holiday. We arrived on Friday and had to pay ten euros more because they knew that several people were coming. Two weeks ago I was there alone with my small camper van and had to pay €39. The price is for two people and electricity. But I was on my own and I was told that the program can't calculate it differently. I could also go.
Corpus Christi and long weekend.
We felt ripped off when it was a public holiday. The site is far too big, too noisy and the department stores are far too far away. We had pitch 102, although the whole meadow was free and we couldn't stand under a shade tree on the hot day, even though the large meadow was almost free. We will definitely not be back.

Customer-unfriendly, far too expensive, rip-off.
Just a rip-off
After the Dutch took over, the first thing they did was to raise prices without anything in return. Then building sites everywhere. In the meantime, there are only bans, longstanding campers are given notice and prices are raised again. Catering changes every year because they don't like the new owners either.
I know many campers and boat owners who have given notice or have been given notice and are looking for something new.

The sanitary facilities were clean, the location is good and you can go for a nice bike ride. The lady at reception was friendly and nice.
Negative ting
Hot water for showering has to be paid for. It is not possible to get to the Weser as the first row is completely occupied by permanent campers. What a pity.
A weekend in April
We were there at the beginning of the season, of course, but the campsite made a dreary and in some places unkempt impression on us. We found the restaurant okay, but it's nothing special.

There was nothing to complain about considering the ongoing renovation work. Very nice operator team. Clean campsite. 2 restaurants within easy walking distance. Mini golf course. Children's playgrounds. Several wash houses.

We go there several times a year. We like the proximity to the water. Our children always have a lot of fun there! The sanitary facilities are clean and the prices in the Borlefzener Hof restaurant are reasonable! Price-performance ratio is good here! 👍👍👍

Wonderful WE at Camp Tierra del Fuego
