It would be a great place to get to know Biarritz and the surrounding area
The campground is clean and well-maintained. The staff at the front desk are very friendly, and some of them also speak German. The on-site restaurant is highly recommended.
The campground is well-located for exploring Biarritz and the surrounding area; there’s a bus stop right in front of it… and taking... the bus there is easy and inexpensive, unlike in Germany.
The sites are a good size, and the restroom facilities are top-notch.
It’s about a 700-meter walk to the beach.
A major downside is the adjacent road, which has heavy traffic—this is particularly disruptive on the sites in the first two rows closest to the road and doesn’t exactly promote relaxation!

great for seeing biarritz
good pied a terre les gbus days and nights in july for the city center where you have to walk 40 mn, on the other hand nice beaches right next to it. the campsite is nice good atmosphere, a bit expensive but it's biarritz and everything is expensive.

very noisy campsite day and night, no rules are respected because no one is there to enforce them. several noise problems throughout the stay. one janitor for the whole campsite, 2 after theft problems in several tents. the management reacts little or not at all to the multiple problems, a play area... of about 5X5m with a slide and a spring game for the whole campsite. very dirty sanitary facilities at all hours, no wristbands or controls at the campsite entrance, leaving access to whoever wants it. very few electric hook-ups for everyone, resulting in constant disconnections. some pitches can be connected to electricity via another tenant's personal socket (multi-socket), while everyone still pays the electricity package. we were very disappointed by this campsite and by the management, who are not very friendly.
