Positive ting
Great, quiet location. Spectacular view over the bay. Fresh water and gray water connection at every pitch. Very spacious pitches with lawn and gravel area. Fantastic view across the small bay. Fresh Water and Waste Water tap at each pitch. Big pitches with lawn and gravel area.
Negative ting
Shower and sanitary facilities rather basic, with timer. Campers and sailors share the site. Only about 20 pitches available. Shower and Toilets are more simple. Camping guests and boat guests are using the hygiene area together. Only 20 pitches available.

Very nicely located pitch, above the Augustenburg marina (access via the harbor area). We were there in July and enquired 2 days in advance by email and promptly received a reservation. The harbor master manages the 20 or so pitches. Please report to the office on arrival.

The pitches are very spacious,... with a grass and gravel section. Fresh water, electricity and waste water on site. Cassette toilets are emptied at the wash house.

The showers work by inserting money (Danish kroner) and are simple but functional. Water sports enthusiasts and campers have to share the sanitary facilities, but this is ok.

Ideal as a starting point for cycling tours on the island or to Sonderburg (15 km). Augustenborg Castle is opposite on the bay, with a great park and museum. Shopping possible in the village. Adjacent hotel at the marina has a good restaurant.

You will find a lot of peace and quiet there.

Ask for place 19...totally at the back of the campsite! We had a wonderful view and a peaceful place, not between campers and caravans. The area is good for cycling. And the administrators are real nice persons!
