Nice location but restless
We were here in April 2019 with a caravan and actually wanted to stay 4 days. The site is quite nicely laid out and conveniently located, the operator is friendly and helpful. However, the nearby road is clearly audible, from 5 a.m. you are woken up by traffic noise. That's why we looked for something else after one night. Too bad.

The operators are very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are clean, but a little uncomfortable during the cooler months of the year. We missed a suitable socket for our hairdryer as the wall-mounted one didn't work.

Green space
Small site surrounded by trees and bushes, looks a bit like a forest clearing. On the outskirts of Rothau, on the small river Bruches, but also close to a busy road. However, traffic noise was kept to a minimum. Large pitches, bordered by small bushes. Clean, adequate sanitary building, not separated... by gender, hot showers and hot water included in the very reasonable total price. Small snack bar with baguette service, several tarte flambée meals in the evening, but only if ordered in advance. Friendly operators. Small supermarket in the neighboring village, very tasty restaurant next to the church. Larger supermarkets in Schirmitz.

the chalets, the peace and quiet, the nearby shops, the landscape, the cleanliness, the quality of services
it's "THE" campsite in Alsace
the pitches are perfect, the campsite is very clean, the service is top-notch, the rates are competitive, there's every modern comfort and plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. we're going back this year with friends.
