"Unfortunately, it's not really clean - Great starting point for trips to Paris. The train station is within easy walking distance. Great connection for 2.55 euros. A cozy place, though naturally a bit noisy (train nearby). The pool is quite small and was much too warm for us. The staff is very friendly and speaks English well. Unfortunately, the restrooms are in serious need of renovation and should be cleaned both more frequently and more thoroughly.

"Ideal camping for visits to Paris - For us it was a good campsite right on the Seine to visit Paris for five days. The campsite has clean sanitary facilities and a small swimming pool. The train station was about 15 minutes walk from the campsite. Ideal for getting to Paris. We had booked a great pitch right on the Seine. It could have done with a little maintenance (mowing the lawn and trimming the hedge). Nevertheless, we were very satisfied and would go to this campsite again for a visit to Paris.

"Good location for visiting Paris - We stayed on the site for 11 days. We had booked eight weeks in advance with 5 people, a caravan, a second car and an additional tent. On arrival, we were surprised to be allocated a 50 m² pitch. However, the friendly staff at reception immediately allocated us a suitable pitch. I think the site is very suitable for a visit to Paris. I know some city campsites that are significantly worse in terms of facilities and cleanliness. I therefore give it 3 stars.

"At the gates of Paris - You can walk to the train station in 10-15 minutes and then it takes about 1/2 hour to get to Paris. For us this is an ideal CP for visitors to Paris. The campsite was always clean and has a small store, a restaurant and a pool, which seemed particularly suitable for small children. However, we only used the store. The nearby railroad bridge is audible, but you don't expect perfect peace and quiet from a central city campsite. The only drawback was the sanitary facilities. The capacity was a little too small, although more toilets and showers could have been opened. There was no hand wash basin (after using the toilet), so guests used the dishwashing sink or the individual washing cubicles. In the latter, the door handle must be operated before washing hands. A hand basin with soap dispenser is missing here! The condition of the showers was poor. The water came out of several places of the screw connections but only sparsely from the shower head. In addition, the water only ran for about 3 seconds after pressing the button.

"Ideal starting point for a city trip to Paris - The campsite is the ideal base for a city trip to Paris. The Maisons-Lafitte train station is a 15-minute walk away. The city center of Paris can be reached and visited within 25 minutes by train (every 10 minutes). The journey to the campsite can be relaxed and without major detours via larger roads, passing the north-eastern outskirts of Paris. This avoids the stressful city traffic of Paris. The pitches are large, separated by hedges, in a quiet location, even partly on the Seine and sufficiently shaded by a large stock of old trees. The staff are friendly and can speak up to four languages (German, English, French, Spanish). A disadvantage is the sanitary facilities, especially at midnight, after all the "Paris visitors" have returned, the wash houses are busy and noisy. Unfortunately, there are also no open hand basins, soap or even sockets in the wash house. However, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is OK. Another positive aspect of the campsite is the small supermarket, which has the most necessary products on site and supplies the campsite with fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning. If you are looking for a campsite to stay overnight or a base for visiting Paris, this is the place for you.

"Stay from June 27 - July 4, 2023 - We stayed at this campsite this summer. It is beautifully situated directly on the Seine and is also well maintained. Now my problem: I booked and paid via the internet. We were already at the reception at 11.30 am. The lady found our booking but then told us that we couldn't check in until 2pm. Anyone can understand that. A campsite is not a hotel. If someone leaves the pitch at 10.00 a.m., the pitch can be allocated again at 11.00 a.m.. I understand this rule in a hotel, because the room has to be cleaned and the beds made up first. At 2 p.m. we were back at reception with many others. There are 2 workstations, but only one was occupied. So we had to wait a long time again. In my opinion, the management needs to go over the books again.

Profils

In a green oasis on the banks of the Seine, on the outskirts of Paris, lies camping Sandaya Paris Maisons-Laffitte. This family campsite is the ideal place to combine your camping holiday with a city trip to Paris or a …day at Disneyland. In less than half an hour you are in the centre of the French capital. The location of the campsite is also ideal for a stopover on your way to the south of France. Campsite Sandaya Paris Maisons-Laffitte has almost two hundred tourist pitches. The pitches are spacious and flat. If you want to enjoy a little more comfort after a day in the city, you can choose one of the accommodations at the campsite. For example, a fully furnished holiday home. Fancy a truly unique night? Then spend the night in one of the beautiful tree houses with a terrace. Back at the campsite, you can relax in the swimming pool after a wonderful day in Paris. There is also a water park and a hot tub. There are sun loungers by the pool where you can read, relax in the sun or under a parasol. The great thing about visiting Paris is that you can leave your car behind. The metro and train stations are just a ten-minute walk from the campsite. Admire the Champs-Élysées, visit the Louvre Museum or have a picnic in the Jardin du Luxembourg. Do you want to see a lot in a short time? Then you can book a fun (electric) bike tour of the French capital at the campsite! During your camping holiday in Maisons-Laffitte, you should not miss out on a visit to the castle of Maisons-Laffitte. It is within walking distance. A game of table tennis or boccia also ensures that familiar holiday feeling. The little ones can let off steam in the playground with wooden and bouncy play equipment. You will want for nothing at the Paris Maisons-Laffitte campsite. Try a delicious French wine in the restaurant and enjoy the view of the rippling Seine. Or get something tasty at the snack bar. You can buy food at the campsite shop and bread for breakfast at the bakery.
