Bad - harboring organized criminals

We were staying at the neighboring campground and had cycled to the beach, where, unfortunately, our bicycles were stolen. Since they were expensive bicycles, they were equipped with GPS trackers. Using the GPS, we were subsequently able to see that the bicycles... had been taken to Camping Dei Tigli.

We therefore hurried to the campsite in the hope of recovering our bicycles. Upon arrival, we approached both the gate attendant and the security guard and explained the situation. We asked them for help in locating and recovering the bicycles, but unfortunately encountered very little interest or willingness to help.

Using the GPS signal, we managed to locate the bicycles ourselves, as well as the person who had them. In the same area, which resembled a makeshift camp, there were several other bicycles that appeared to have been stolen.

We once again approached both the gate attendant and the security guard, but they continued to show very little interest in the situation. We also got the impression that they would prefer the police not to get involved.

Based on our experience, I personally would not feel safe staying at this campground with valuable belongings. The most concerning aspect was not only that our bicycles had been stolen by one of the campground’s long-term residents—whom we suspected of being involved in organized criminal activity—but also the lack of assistance and concern shown by the campground staff. We were left with the impression that they were more interested in protecting their long-term resident than in helping us recover our stolen property.

In Italian:

It is not far from the beach and there is a shuttle to the beach. They have a pool which was often overcrowded... the animation for children was nice but very late then could only participate 2 times. otherwise nothing was good about it... In the morning we liked to go to the bar for coffee was also very pleasant.

The doors of the sanitary areas should be renewed the tiles etc... unfortunately no money is invested but I would really advise.... the restaurant staff are really very rude wanted 3 pizzas to TAKE away were then sent away because there were too many people in the restaurant...
Unfortunately disappointed
For a week is fine longer I would not stay in the campsite.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the staff were very helpful and helpful.

We broke off our vacation after 8 days because of the unacceptable conditions on the CP and went to Lake Garda. We cannot recommend this campsite for families! A campsite on sandy ground in the middle of a forest. Small pitches, not very suitable for large camper vans or motorhomes. You can only sit... in your awning! Most of the campers are local permanent campers. Due to the drought in the summer months, it is extremely dusty in the region, but if that doesn't bother you, the area is fantastic. There used to be grass, but now there's lots of leaves and sand. Crawlies in the trees cause unsightly mess on the awnings and caravans. 2 sanitary facilities available: 1 new one for permanent campers and 1 very old one for holidaymakers (6 toilets, 3 of which are outhouses). The toilet facilities are cleaned once a day, but are also heavily damaged due to the many youth groups. At the beginning of the season, the toilets are equipped with toilet seats, but in the high season you have to do without them. If you are on vacation here, you have to bring your own toilet seat! Despite complaints at reception, who speak broken English, the installation of toilet seats was refused for cost reasons. Not possible at all! The pool is chargeable, small and can only be used with a swimming cap. W-Lan is chargeable. Washing machines available. Shopping facilities are on site for forgotten items. There are large supermarkets in the next town, which you should visit! Excursions to the surrounding larger tourist towns are possible, but watch out for the forest of signs. The parking tickets come about 1 year later! Pisa is beautiful, Florence and the smaller fishing villages are well worth a visit. But beware: at lunchtime it's dead time, unlike in Germany the small stores don't open until 4.00 pm. There are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding excursion towns, so you should choose where to eat. The beach is approx. 1 km away, accessible by bike via a busy road through a dense forest (no paved cycle path). However, theft is the order of the day here. A shuttle bus takes tourists to the beach at certain intervals. It is best to drive there by car and park in the private parking lots, which are relatively inexpensive and safe.
