We were there at the end of May and felt very comfortable. José took over the management of the CP in 2018, invested a lot of work and brought the site, which had been closed for several years, back into shape. He was always helpful and gave us a very friendly welcome. The restaurant serves a good evening... meal. There were only a few guests apart from us. You have a beautiful view of the valley and the Ibores mountains. The town and the Guadalupe monastery are not far away. Castanar de Ibor has a few bars and only 2 small LM stores. In the early and late season you can go hiking.
