The fresh air! Toilets in a construction trailer! Toilet paper is sometimes unavailable. The flush doesn't work; open-air showers in the pig pen! Not all the showers work! The large restroom facilities are dirty. Construction materials have been lying at the entrance for years, and the weeds have grown tall. Nothing is being done—they just take your money! We’ve never experienced anything like this before! Campers, stay away from this campground—especially if you have kids. For heaven’s sake! We were in Ribe in May. What a beautiful place! It gets 1,000 stars from us. But the campground in Ribe—not this one! .

I've been camping for a very long time, but this campground beats them all—in a bad way!
Not recommended at all! A disaster! Campers, be careful when booking! The negative reviews are not an exaggeration! The restrooms are a disaster!

Pitches unkempt, sanitary facilities to be demolished, pitch 49 booked but not allocated for whatever reason. Newly assigned pitch was due to the size of my vehicle, which the operator knew could not be reached without felling trees.
That doesn't have to be the case
Paid for 2 nights but one night is enough. Please use the remaining money for cleanliness

The Campimgplatz is a very unkempt place. Sanitary building has already been repaired with tarpaulin due to leakage. Facilities in the sanitary buildings and also the cooking facilities are defective or unusable. There is almost no hot water, there are no washing machines although advertised in the Intenett. In case of complaints, the boss is not very understanding. All in all, the price is not justified.

The location and the peace and quiet, as well as the possibility of using the pool!

What still really bothers me today is that I was not informed at check-in that the pitch costs 50% more if you want to camp at the time of the festival! There was no detailed invoice, without individual items. We only received a receipt with the total amount and couldn't understand how much was charged for what!
Vacation in the time around the Rømø Motorfestival 2024!
The site has been rented out to campers and vacation home tenants for many years without any investment! Everything looks as if it has been left to decay. Areas and buildings are simply closed when they are in need of renovation! The reception has simply been closed and the camper now goes to the adjoining... hotel to check in. However, as there is a lack of staff here, the procedure takes quite a long time and you are only processed quickly. Nevertheless, we would be sad if the site were to close. It is so beautifully situated on the Wadden Sea side with a wonderful view and not as exposed to the wind as on the tidal side!

The place is very unkempt, poorly signposted, the wet room is an absolute "no go", but a new sanitary building is probably being planned. Very, very sad, I would have expected a campsite that lived up to the description based on the internet description.

The individual pitches, which are bordered by hedges, are very beautiful and the location on the island is great.

At the moment, July 2023, there are rats on the square and you don't get the feeling that anything is really being done about them. There is also no information about it. A lot of the place is old and unkempt anyway, which is why I wouldn't recommend it. But it is also expensive.

Rats on a campsite between tent pitches and huts are a no-go for me. Some corners are very unkempt. There are lots of tripping hazards and extremely poor lighting at night.

Visit to Sylt
We actually wanted to go to Sylt. But everything was fully booked there. So we came to the campsite and took the ferry to Sylt the next day without a car. The place is very overgrown. The tickets are an outrage. Indoor and outdoor pool.

everything is outdated and very run down
Totally dilapidated campsite
The last time we were there was 20 years ago. It's such a shame that everything is so run down. The sanitary facilities were really dilapidated. They took real money for the campsite. (!!! On arrival they don't tell you how run down everything is!!!) Never again.

Quiet place, mostly 'natural', infrastructure partly dilapidated
The site is very large and it is obvious that maintenance is being cut back here. Two sanitary facilities, one of which is dilapidated (directly behind the hotel), the other is reasonably usable. Cleanliness in the second facility ok. The same applies to the huts (external impression). Parts of the site... were reasonably well maintained, others neglected. No WLAN. The site is very quiet, horse lovers will enjoy the paddocks right next to the site. Reception in the adjoining hotel, the friendliness of the staff was limited during our stay. Great bakery 5-10 minutes' walk from the campsite towards the center. For travelers who carry their own infrastructure in the Womo ok. Price/performance definitely too expensive for what is on offer. The situation is likely to deteriorate rather than improve due to the competition (for motorhomes) in the immediate vicinity.

Unfortunately I have to say that everything is very dilapidated. The place was unkempt, the sanitary facilities totally filthy. The Spielland is closed, as is the supermarket. Much too expensive for it. Were here on 17.6.2016 not recommended. All leisure activities only in the hotel complex.

Shop / bakery around the corner / you can have breakfast at the bakery, close to the harbor with a ferry for a trip to Sylt, very large beach.

Unkempt place
Were here 12 years ago with a tent, this time with a caravan. In the hotel reception we were received friendly, but we were not given any information, only that some electricity connection points are locked, with the check card we and other guests had their problems, that you have to pull them at high... speed through the laeser was a coincidence, the place was only prepared to a 1/4 for guests, much too high grown grass prevented camping with tent, caravan or camper. The kitchen was a joke, the stoves still connected with rickety 2 burner gas stoves, the stove would have to be cleaned, as well as the washrooms, which are still on the state 12 years ago, in front of the sinks are felt mats, a high on the bacilli who are happy. Maybe a hotel will be built here one day because the campsite is no longer profitable, but that's no wonder with the (non) maintenance. We have been to many campsites in Denmark, BUT COMPARED TO OTHER CAMPING PLACES OF TODAY'S STANDARD, THIS SITE GETS THE MARK

Quiet in winter...
A very quiet course in winter, large parts of which were closed due to flooding. In summer, with over 600 pitches and the neighboring leisure park and riding facility, it was certainly no longer quiet! The sanitary facilities were mostly closed, the open "single bathrooms" clean due to daily cleaning... - hot water was no problem at all! The current price with motorhome for 2 adults, dog incl. electricity was 35 EUR per night. The showers, swimming pool and steam bath could be used free of charge from 0700-2100 hrs. Wellness area and pool area should be cleaned more often. There are certainly small things to criticize - the operators can be accused of a certain operational blindness. The restaurant is expensive, but the quality of the food is good. The staff were friendly throughout and responded promptly to any shortcomings (e.g. replacement of the kitchen gas bottle within an hour).

It was a good place if it was maintained, it is too old, lukewarm water for washing dishes, lack of light in place, tall grass and impression of indifference. There should be Danish speaking staff. Too little control of who is on the site. The only thing that is top notch is the price. Should only have two stars.

Unfortunately we did not read the comments on this page beforehand. The place is scenically beautiful. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in the sanitary situation since the last reviews. We were there at the beginning of October. Lukewarm water in washrooms and kitchens as well as 4 family bathrooms... for the whole place was very poor in our opinion. The kitchens were no longer set up for guests.....schade. We are traveling a lot in Denmark but we have not found such conditions. The ladies and men's toilets were illuminated and locked, were not opened even after a complaint at the reception.

I've been going to this campsite for over 10 years. In the beginning, the site was extremely full in the high season. For the last 4 years, the site has been empty even in high season. In August 2013 there were only 3 motorhomes on the site (no campers). That says it all. The site has become extremely... expensive and offers nothing in return. Instead of staying there for 14 days, we prefer to drive 30 km inland to friends and spend the night there. That is still much cheaper than staying there. Quick Camping is also far too expensive. It looks like we won't be coming back again.

Very large site close to the Wadden Sea. There is also an outdoor pool. The sanitary facilities have seen better days. Overall, the site is in a great location on the island and it's not far to the large beach. Unfortunately, the site is quite expensive....

The site is noisy with youth groups until the early hours of the morning, there is no groundsman/supervision in the evening. Some parts of the site a little unkempt, especially at the waste disposal station. W-LAN not available on the pitch itself. Must be used in the hotel, but no connection to the network there. Staff refer to hotel PCs. Disadvantage: advance payment without reimbursement in the event of early departure.
