Texelcamping Kogerstrand At Kogerstrand you holiday between the dunes of Texel. The sound of the sea can be heard in the background, a hare sits quietly beside a bush. Your tent or caravan is freestanding in your own dune hollow. … Fantastic location It's impossible to pigeonhole Kogerstrand; not with such a special location on the island. Cross the dunes and the sandy beach lies before you. Walking routes start at the camping site and wind across National Park Dunes of Texel, of which Kogerstrand is part. We have a wide range of options available for campers. Groups and young people are welcome and there are a variety of hikers' cabins available. De Koog The De Koog resort is great for fairs and friendly restaurants. The village has everything you need. Two supermarkets, a pharmacy, butcher and baker are within walking distance of the camp site. Why not browse the clothing and souvenir shops? Our reception can provide you with further information about Texel.

Directions Kogerstrand lies at the edge of De Koog. The camping site is easily accessible by car and public transport. By car Travel to Den Helder via the A7 and/or N9. Directions to the ferry are clearly indicated. On Texel, … follow the signs towards De Koog. Once in town, keep right. Continue along Nikadel. Turn left after Super De Boer. Follow the road to the next junction. Go straight up Badweg and drive up the dune. Once on top you'll see Kogerstrand. You can also plan your route via www.routenet.nl Enter Kogerstrand's address: Badweg 33, 1796 AA, De Koog. By public transport Take the train to Den Helder. From the station take bus route 33 to the ferry. You can validate your ticket in Den Helder ahead of your journey to De Koog. On Texel, take bus route 28 to De Koog. Alight at the last stop before Kogerstrand and walk up the dune via Badweg. The camping site is within ± 5 minutes' walk.
