Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.

During your visit, the family rooms in Sanitary Building 1 were limited, but Sanitary Building 3 – located only a short walk away – was fully open with five additional... family bathrooms as well as a dedicated kitchen for dishwashing. This information is also provided on the info sheet at the self-check-in station, but we understand that it may have been easy to overlook, and we apologize if this was not clear during your stay.

Regarding the shower fee: from 10 November we have made showers free of charge for all overnight guests. This change was implemented based on guest feedback like yours.

As for the price level, winter rates are kept close to the summer season mainly due to significantly higher electricity usage and the operational costs of running the campsite year-round. Even though there was no snow at the time of your visit, these costs are part of maintaining the site through the colder months.

We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve clarity and guest experience.

never ever
...dirty, expensive, guest not welcome...dirty, expensive, guest not welcome...
were here and had to camp in the wet meadow despite free places in the rain. dog owners let dogs run around freely and shit what nobody cares. several places been free but we must with tent in wet area, fucking dogs running free ...schit and piss everywehre...expensive and all (shower very small) cost extra...

Fine for a short stay
Very large site with sufficiently large pitches, unfortunately hardly any trees or shade. The site is right next to a reservoir with swimming and fishing opportunities. The children really liked the playground, we found the small playhouses very lovingly designed. The sanitary facilities are reminiscent... of a container construction from the 1980s, there were not enough toilets and showers, the cleanliness also left a lot to be desired, and these can also be a long way from the pitch. The worktop at the washing-up area was swollen and broken, and certainly not just recently. The Olympic sights are in the immediate vicinity. The bobsleigh ride is highly recommended.

Nice place also for those passing through...with Olympic flair
We stayed here for two nights on our way to Fjordland. The services on offer at the site are functional. The pitches are fully asphalted, half asphalt-half grass, half gravel-half grass and all grass. The location by the lake is really beautiful and the pitch area is nicely laid out. Showers cost NOK... 15 per 5 minutes, paid for with the guest card, which can also be used to enter and exit the site. There is also a waste disposal station for motorhomes. There is a shopping center with a supermarket not far from the site. The site is particularly suitable for viewing the impressive ski jumps in the Olympic Park. A visit is not to be missed, the view of Lillehammer from the large ski jump is wonderful.

For overnight stays only
On the way to the Geirangerfjord, we arrived here at around 8pm and were directed to the back of the campsite. Nice view over the lake. The sanitary facilities consisted of several containers, which did not look clean in the evening or in the morning. The toilets, we have never experienced that before:... very narrow and short! When sitting down you have to pull your legs up really hard, otherwise the door won't close! The showers also consisted of prefabricated plastic modules with a curtain.

Nice place close to the city
Large campsite directly on the lake. Well signposted. Center of Lillehammer within walking distance. CP also rents out a VW UP. Sanitary facilities new, good and clean. WLAN free of charge. Pitches are largely laid out with asphalt hard shoulder and lawn. Staff very friendly - you just have to express your wishes and they will be fulfilled.

Good location, temporarily unbalanced sanitary supply.
Well located and professionally run campsite. City center, shopping facilities and Maihaugen within walking distance. Situated between the lakeshore and the railroad line, occasional freight trains at night. When we visited the site in August 14, extensive building work was taking place. A considerable... number of new camper van parking spaces had been created in the southern part, which were getting fuller and fuller by the evening. However, despite the high season, the new sanitary building was still under construction - instead, 4 shared toilets, 1 wash-up area and 3 showers each were provided in an existing building in a very small space. The well-made and clean sanitary facilities in the main building for the other part of the site were accordingly in demand. In a posted letter from the management, they apologized for the interim conditions. It remained inexplicable to us why the occupancy was not adjusted to the available capacity. Apart from that, this is a professionally run site, which is quite centrally located in Lillehammer and is well suited for a short visit as part of a city break.

Modern and beautiful place
Very nice campsite directly on Lake Mjosa; access through shopping center, but very well signposted; bathing facilities and access to the lake are available (best with shoes because of the stony access), our pitch was parceled out, partly paved (parking space for caravans) and with meadow; the sanitary facilities were clean, but like almost everywhere in Norway relatively few showers

Clean, beautifully situated campsite. The approach through the shopping center is a bit strange, but well signposted. The water skiers, who had to turn around in front of the campsite beach of all places, were a bit idyllic.
