We were lucky to have great neighbors - it was absolutely quiet (except for a guitar strummer who thought he had to practice at 11.30pm and 8.00am, fortunately with little endurance).
The sanitary facilities were typically... French and basic, but you know that when you're on a basic pitch.
No pool, no entertainment, just peace and quiet.
