Mountain camping with its very own charm
Mountain camping with charm. The site is located on the outskirts of the village on a road with little traffic next to the forest. The reception is only manned sporadically. We were able to choose a free pitch anywhere on the site. The pitches are all quite large and gravelled, which is a little uncomfortable... but makes sense for a mountain campsite in winter with lots of snow. Payment by EC is not possible but Euros are also accepted. There is a main building where everything is located. Kitchen, lounge, sanitary facilities, laundry room, reception, etc. When you enter the house you have to take off your shoes, you have the feeling you are coming home to someone, it was very cozy in the building and that had a very special charm. Everything was spotlessly clean. The owner was very friendly, everything was very uncomplicated. There is a very small playground and a minigolf course. We explored the Flatrute from there, you can be on the route in just a few kilometers. There is a small Sami village on the way where you can buy all kinds of reindeer-related products. We were able to observe many reindeer and cranes at the roadside and the landscape up there is uniquely beautiful with miles of views of the countryside and mountains. The village with stores is within easy reach.

Wonderfully quiet
The site is wonderfully quiet on a quiet road away from the village. Laid out in terraces, all gravel. Permanent campers stand apart. The pitches are very large. Fantastic view of the mountains and the ski area. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean, showers have to be paid for separately with coins. This is the perfect place for hiking and relaxing. The only thing you can hear is the rushing of the river.
