Very friendly site management, constant development, inexpensive, usually quite quiet,

Very hard ground (pegs bend), the few toilets are often cleaned, but some day campers are unfortunately piglets.
Changed prices
Very tidy, simple but well-kept site. Sufficient pitches. Village area, no hustle and bustle. That is very pleasant. Everything there but no luxury. Quite cheap for the Algarve

The price
Price doesn't reflect facilities
This used to be a great cheap campsite, very basic but the price reflected this. Since 2017 the price per night and electricity price has increased. The campsite however has not. There have been no improvements to the site. The showers are still made of wood board, and raw cement floor. The shower is... 1 euro for 3 minutes, perhaps an increase on the minutes would have been appreciated. The location is great however. The price is now the same as other campsites in the area, but the others have unlimited hot water showers included in that price and more facilities.

Place for a stopover
Quiet place for a stopover or for visiting the Cabode Sao Vicente. Beautiful bay within walking distance.
