The sanitary building is new, large and always very clean. The dishwashing area is also pleasantly large and includes cooking facilities for a fee. The bread roll service is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful, making you feel at home... straight away. The kiosk is small but perfectly adequate. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed (they are looking for a tenant), and if you want to eat out you have to go to the neighboring villages.
The pitches are very large and have electricity, water and drainage. There is a small beach area for swimming.
The waste/recyclables area is not optimal compared to other campsites and should be revised.
Negative are the many dog owners who disregard the campsite's and the municipality's guidelines in the beach area.

What we particularly liked: very spacious, modern sanitary facilities, everything very well maintained from the scullery to the laundry room, everything was top notch. Fresh bread rolls in the morning. As we were traveling with... a caravan, the lack of shopping facilities didn't bother us. Our pitch was spacious and had fresh water and waste water. Little meadow, lots of gravel. The distances to the neighbors can sometimes be described as cozy. Completely OK for us. Had lots of good conversations. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. However, there are plenty of other bathing spots where your furry friend can enjoy the lake. We had a very nice week's vacation at the Seewang campsite. The reception and the service is super friendly. We came without a reservation and were given a very friendly welcome and a super nice pitch with an unobstructed view of the mountains. We were also offered... a card for public transport free of charge. We were very happy to use this and were able to leave our WOMO parked. The site and the sanitary facilities are very clean. Access to the lake (bathing area) is directly at the campsite.

I wanted to book a short trip there for me and my husband, everything was fine so far. One pitch was still free at the time (it was 3.4 days before arrival). I thought I'd book this one too, a big mistake on my part, as my parents had recently... been traveling with our motorhome, you wouldn't think that the motorhome could stay put, so much for that, it stayed put on the day we wanted to go there. As we couldn't drive any further, I called the same day and explained my problem. All good, we'll cancel, they said. A few weeks later, I received a letter with a large amount of money that I was supposed to pay. I then tried to call them every week to ask what this was about, but no one could be reached, not once. Then I decided to write an e-mail, whereupon I finally reached someone, here it is pointed out that this was on the website and I had to pay the bill because they could not pass on the place. I mean, I booked the pitch 3-4 days before? If I hadn't come, probably no one would have come...probably! A tip from me if you book here: DON'T GET SICK! Look at your car the day before even if it was still running before, it's best to have a replacement car ready! And avoid other problems that are actually unavoidable! We wanted to stay at the campsite for nine days and had booked. Unfortunately, this series of storms hit the Allgäu at exactly the same time. We remember destroyed... caravans and one seriously injured person at the campsite in Lindau. There was a red storm warning for the Forggensee at the time, with the threat of flooding everywhere. Of course we didn't want to go in this situation and canceled. According to the general terms and conditions, weather is not a reason for canceling. However, it was not weather, but UN weather, as the name suggests, the opposite. Now, from a purely legal point of view, it is probably incontestable that they demanded almost the full amount (we also paid, of course). But is that decent? An operator who cares about the well-being of his guests would probably have advised us not to come in this situation. But they preferred to accept that we might have a similarly bad experience as the guests in Lindau before foregoing the revenue. So what is the significance of a red storm warning?

If a car and trailer were to come towards you in the blind bend, it would be difficult. It was lunchtime and other campers with caravans were already waiting in front of us in the narrow... driveway with no waiting area for new guests. A van and a caravan collided right away.
Registration finally opened and every guest had to fill out a form. This took ages, of course, as there was only one person at the registration desk.
It was time for us to drive onto our pitch. The pitches have a more or less steep gradient, as the entire campsite is on a slope. The comfort pitch is not small, but the format is unfavorable. I had difficulty positioning the caravan (7.5m). Overall, the campsite is not very suitable for large vehicles. The comfort pitch has electricity, fresh water and waste water connections. Then that's the end of it. In addition to the few grass areas, there are gravel areas with gravel from small to chicken egg size. Not pedestrian friendly.
The main road is within earshot, but doesn't bother you, the crows are more annoying at dusk tomorrow. The wash house is wonderfully new and always clean. Unless the neighbor was on it before you. The free W-LAN is hardly available. The information that there may be disruptions to the network because a new one is being installed doesn't help much. Waste management is definitely more inconspicuous. Another plus point is the child-friendly bathing area by the lake. The campsite is quite quiet unless the hip Munich locals come at the weekend and light a fire on the barbecue despite the risk of forest fires. It stands and falls with the neighbors.
Overall, a campsite that is a nice alternative to the sites at Hopfensee. OK for a week. Some people wrote good reviews and than out of blue there's this negatieve review becauce the family runned "campingsite" are not interested in their customers.
