We only stayed at this campsite for a short time. The owner was very nice. We were offered a mussel meal for €18 in the restaurant belonging to it, but we didn't take advantage of it. The sanitary facilities could be renovated; showers cost 50 cents. Hot water for washing up costs 20 cents. This is definitely no longer up to date. The harbor is just behind the dike.

Inexpensive and very friendly
The arrival time is not very flexible without prior arrangement but you are welcomed in a friendly manner, they even help you maneuver your caravan, we have never experienced this before, thank you. The site is full of rental houses (permanent campers) so there is not much choice, but everything is very... clean and well maintained. The prices in the restaurant are steep and there is no store, so you have to go to the village a few streets away. The sanitary facilities are old but they are cleaned regularly. Showers cost 0.50 cents, but are long enough for 2 people. The playground consists of 2 bouncy castles, but they are really not recommended, in 10 days 4 children have injured themselves (all twisted, some even had to go to hospital), so be careful! In the morning (7:00) you are woken up by the diesel engines of the mussel cutters behind the dyke, but you can't hear anything from the industrial area. The (mini) beach is a good 500m away and quite clean. There is no entertainment. The place was ideal for us, inexpensive and well located for city trips, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Antwerp etc.

Have been going to the zonenzee campsite regularly for several years. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained. Campsite owner very friendly and helpful. W-lan also available. Swimming in natural waters less than 500m from the site (Oesterschelde). All in all a very nice place with a good restaurant. Well-kept facilities with well-structured pitches. Good value for money. The site has been open all year round since the 2009/2010 season.
