Herbert G.birželis 2025TeigiamiThe campsite is located in a beautiful bay with crystal clear blue sea. Almost like being in the Caribbean. The beach is directly adjacent to the campsite. As the site is completely fenced in, you have to cross the entrance to the campsite. It was very quiet when we were there. Even at night.NeigiamiThere is no possibility to refuel the motorhome with water via a hose during the stay. There is only one tap on the entire site and this costs extra. The supermarket and the restaurant are extremely overpriced.Very remote locationThe campsite is located about 5 km from the nearest village in a beautiful bay with a clear blue sea. The site itself is huge. I wouldn't want to be here if the campsite was full. The sandy beach is about 200 m long and only a few meters wide. With a lot of waste left behind by day visitors. As the nearest... supermarket cannot be reached without a vehicle, you are unfortunately forced to shop in the very overpriced mini-market at the campsite. A deodorant for almost €7 or an eight-pack of 0.5 l mineral water for €8 is not exactly a bargain. The restaurant is also extremely expensive. For example, cevapcici for €15 is very expensive. In the restaurant in Ston we only paid €12. So it's not surprising that the restaurant is only visited by a few guests. To fill up the motorhome's water tank, you also have to buy a coin at reception even though you are a guest at the campsite. Everything was fine regarding the camp, until the last day, when we were late for the check-out for nine minutes and they charged us an additional day. The girl at the desk was rude. After I sent a complaint via e-mail, I got an answer with apologies,... saying this is their policy and they are not ready to do anything about it. Disappointed. The restaurant belonging... to the site is only lower middle class and you can only pay in cash. There is also a small, well-stocked store. Card payment is possible here. We were allowed to choose the pitch ourselves. If you go further back onto the pitch, you are in the shade of very old olive trees. This was perfect in midsummer, but if you come in the fall, there are also sunny pitches. The... sanitary facilities are very basic but clean. The restaurant is fine, as is the supermarket, which is very well stocked. Ston is about 10 minutes away by car. The sandy beach is beautiful and of course very crowded in August. There is a beach to the front. There are high cliffs on all other sides. There are many olive trees on the site. Unfortunately, the olives regularly fall onto the roof. Even at night. But there is shade. However, the whole site was already quite shady anyway due to the... high rock faces. In September it was already dark by 4pm because of this. What a shame! The beach was unfortunately also very crowded, as locals also used it and it is also very small. The infrastructure is good. There is a small supermarket with bread rolls for breakfast and a restaurant. The sanitary facilities were clean. There is a cash machine. There is a regular ferry on site to the islands. Overall, the campsite feels a bit cramped due to its location between the mountain slopes. There is only one road leading to and from the campsite. No hiking trails or anything. This makes you feel a bit enclosed. So not for people who love wide open spaces. Unfortunately, we didn't like it at all: ID cards are retained during the stay.Automatiškai išversta.

Sanitary facilities are old but clean and are cleaned several times a day. During the day there is direct access to the adjacent public beach through a door, which is locked at night for security reasons, the detour past the reception... is then approx. 250m. The restaurant opens at 16:00, quality and service are good. The beach is also heavily used by local families and youth groups, dogs are not allowed there. The beach is cleaned every morning. And yes, wifi costs a fee. As Croatia is an EU country, you can also use the data volume of your provider, which is included in most contracts anyway. Fresh water at a hose tap also costs 5 kuna per 100 liters, but if that's too much for you, you can also get it in a canister from the flushing area of the sanitary facilities. I would like to comment on the negative reviews from September 2017 as follows: 1. if it rains, you get wet and if it rains a lot, every meadow gets soggy, anywhere in the world! 2. campers and caravans have doors, tents have zippers, all of which generate noise when used. Access to the beach is only possible via the main access road, i.e. always the large loop to the beach. The entire infrastructure of this campsite is much worse. The entire site is in the state of the... last century. There are no water taps on the site. For the electrical connection you may need 40 m of cable and when it rains you can quickly find yourself standing in the mud. No free WiFi.
