There are few alternatives in October because everything is closed. We were delighted with the location, great views of the historic town. Heavenly peace and quiet, the nearby road hardly/not at all disturbed. The sanitary facilities... are small for the site, but very well maintained. The reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, there was nothing to buy on the pitch at this time of year and no bread service for the morning, so you have to find something in the village.
