Small, quiet place with a family atmosphere
A small, very informal campsite dominated by mobile homes and small vacation bungalows. We received a very friendly welcome at reception. There are about 30 pitches for tourists. The campsite has a small swimming pool (covered), a snack bar/cafe and a shop selling basic necessities in reception. Bread... rolls can be ordered at reception. The pitches, loosely parceled out, are large enough and all have a 10 amp (!) fused electricity connection. There is also shade in places, the ground is 'hard earth'. OK in dry conditions; but what it looks like in wet conditions . . .??? The feeling is cozy and familiar; after 2 days you know almost every camper present. Quite good 3G/4G reception, we didn't use the WLAN. A washing machine & dryer are available. All sanitary facilities (decent standard) are for "unisex" use. There is a small playground for children and a few picnic tables for campers.
The pool is quite small and more for kids. .suitable for adults for cooling off at most. Bicycles can be hired at reception. The Tharon-Plage district / beach is approx. 500m away. There are numerous restaurants, snack bars, cafes etc. in the village. The price in high season is €26 per night (camper van with 2 people incl. electricity) - that's really fair!
