A beautifully situated site in the countryside directly on the Gard, with swimming opportunities either in the river or in the piscine (pool), Canoo directly on the river, the mobile home was simple, small but clean, in the evening in the season always unobtrusive animation, especially something for... young people, actually only reasonable family campers, many Dutch, few Germans, 45 min walk to the Pont du Gard, then no entrance fee, don't forget the sometimes strong mistral, there is always something to discover on the river and in front of the campsite, Uzes is highly recommended, location to other sights such as Nimes, Avignon or St. Maries-de-la-Mare not to be missed.Maries-de-la-Mare, friendly staff, wifi available at the front, thank God a lot of shade, ok, many mobile homes, unfortunately many dogs, but we have known the site since 1993 and don't always go there, but always like to. But you always have to be aware that you are in the south of France and not somewhere else.

Under new management since the end of 2008, we were shocked when we tried it this year. 50% of the site is paved with very tightly built mobile homes, hardly any space for tents or caravans. Too bad, we have been there 10 times before and were always happy. The newly built slide at the pool was a positive. We looked for another place and found it!
