If you love England, you love this campsite
An ideal campsite for visiting Stonehenge and Salisbury! You can be at Stonehenge in 20 minutes by camper van or car. There are also large parking spaces for motorhomes. There is a lovely walk from the campsite to Salisbury along the River Avon (25 minutes). The reception is very friendly and the sanitary facilities very well maintained. A typical English campsite, ideal for those passing through on their way north or to Cornwall.

Good starting point for visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge. The campsite is in a quiet location (bordered on one side by a meadow with a great view) and the friendly campsite warden personally guides you directly to your pitch. The sanitary facilities are as good as new, tidy and kept clean. The tent meadow (no pitches) is partly on a slope.

IDEAL PLACE TO VISIT SALISBURY
The site is on the outskirts of the town, approx. 150 m below the main road, therefore quiet, within walking distance of Old Sarum. Well signposted, easy to reach. Friendly reception, you are taken to the pitch by the manager where you have to position yourself exactly according to his instructions to... the centimeter, order is a must! Otherwise, however, the atmosphere on the site is not military. The pitches, meadow area, well-kept and clean, partly a bit sloping, without chocks nothing works or you stand in an inclined position. 2 sanit. Blocks, good and clean, access only with code. Various fresh water and waste water points on the pitch. To the center of Salisbury about 2.5 KM, there is a foot / bike path from the campsite, bus stop in 150 m. There is also good parking in the center, as there is a large site, free spaces all day, up to 5 hours £ 5.--, all day £ 7.50, beautiful old town. Be sure to visit the cathedral with its sculptural decorations, the oldest clockwork in England from around 1386 in the north aisle and the chapter house.

The site is very centrally located. You can easily reach the beautiful city center of Salisbury by bus or bike. The site is ideal for visiting the famous Stonehenge. A visit to Old Saurum right next door is also worthwhile.
