very nice campsite with lots of green, terraced, therefore a lot of privacy, sanitary facilities ok, very friendly and good-humored campsite operators, still open in late autumn

Familiar and relaxed
This campsite was intended as a "stopover" on the return journey from Vieste to Augsburg. It was supposed to be 1 night, but ended up being 4 nights.
Very family-run, quiet and secluded in Tuscany on a mountain. Very relaxing and just the right place to recharge your batteries.
If you want, you can get... into conversation with the tenants and enjoy a good meal in the campsite's own restaurant. It is good "home cooking" without any frills, down-to-earth and honest.
There are plenty of toilets and showers, even if they are a bit outdated.
We were very lucky to be able to get a taste of the olive harvest and it was an experience that we would love to repeat.
The pitches are well distributed and beautifully integrated into the landscape. Electricity and hot water are available. There are also barbecue areas, a pool, table tennis and a playground. There are also mobile homes for people without campers.
If you are interested in the country and its people, you should take the time to talk to the tenants. They will always have helpful tips for exploring Florence, Pisa and much more. English is only spoken very little, but with hands and feet and Google translator, one or two evenings were filled with enriching conversations.
It was actually only a stopover, but we will be back more often. Thank you for your hospitality and the great days here.

Quiet site in the hills above the Arno valley; flexible shuttle service to Empoli train station, 30 min. to Florence; sanitary facilities old but clean; restaurant open and good;
