Einer der besten Plätze Islands, waren am Anfang unserer Reise hier und jetzt am Ende gerne auch wieder.
Sanitär, Aufenthaltsraum ziemlich neu, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal. Absolut zu empfehlen.

The best camping in Iceland
Very good and clean showers, as well as the bathrooms. Kitchen and living room, also perfectly clean, with everything needed for cooking. Oh and heated living room floor. Perfect. I haven't found the same in all of Iceland, keep it up.

Sauberkeit schlimm, Müll überhäuft sich und wird nicht abgeholt, WC-Entsorgung war verstopft, eine Zumutung!
Schöner Platz mit Schwächen in der Sauberkeit
Wir waren mit unserem Wohnmobil dort, fanden auch schnell einen guten Stellplatz. Die Infrastruktur ist gut, soweit passte alles. Aber die Sauberkeit liess sehr zu wünschen übrig, d.h. die Müllcontainer wurden nicht geleert, sie quellten über. Das war ein schlimmer Anblick! Dann war die WC-Entsorgung... (für WC-Cassetten) verstopft, es war eine Zumutung und ein entsprechend schlimmer Anblick! So etwas darf nicht passieren und muss sofort behoben werden.

It is always difficult to read the negative, but we try to take this opportunity to learn from you how we can make our services even better. I would like to apologize to you for the situation you found yourself in at our campsite.... I can only assure you that I will look into taking some steps. Unfortunately, I did not understand well what exactly this was about. This year we have taken great care of hygiene and we have even hired extra staff for this. I am very sorry that despite all these efforts and good reviews about hygiene and friendliness in our facilities, mistakes can sometimes happen. This should not be the case and we will face such a review.

It would help me a lot if you could remember and let me know on which day of your visit to our campsite this situation happened? I apologize again for all of this and thank you for the benefits you stated in your review.

- Lage zum Flughafen, auch noch späte Anreise möglich - schöner Aufenthaltsraum
Guter Ausgangspunkt für eine Islandrundreise
Wir haben diesen Campingplatz direkt nach dem Flug nach Island benutzt, da der Flugplatz Reykjavik Keflavik nicht weit entfernt ist und wir dort die isländische Campingcard einsetzen konnten. Die Standplätze für Wohnmobile und Wohnwagen befinden sich auf einer Wiese. Der Campingplatz hat einen schönen beheizten Aufenthaltsraum mit guter WLAN-Verbindung.

Gute Atmosphäre
Sehr angenehmer Campingplatz.Gute Lage um den Südwesten zu erkunden. Freundliche Mitarbeiter geben gerne Auskunft. Sanitäreinrichtung und Aufenthaltsraum großzügig und sauber.
