Lech Camping
Just finished a lovely 2 week stay in Lech
Camping, what can I say that is bad. Nothing! This is a first class motorhome and caravan park with excellent facilities, toilets and showers are refreshed regularly, the facilities to service the motorhome are top class with everything at hand.... Netto supermarket across the road and bus stop to Ausburg where you can access train to Munich or further afield. The sites themselves are all sun or shade to suit everyone, nice and flat and very spacious. The grounds are immaculate with little ornaments and finishing touches abound. The lake and free boats and paddle boards make the site that more exciting. To the cleaning staff I can only say thank you to give you an example of how clean the site is I can add the comment of the cleaner washing and polishing down the ornaments and finally a big thank you to Gabi. An excellent host who is only too happy to help and always smiling. Thanks for a great time. I will be back. Right next to a busy road, the cars virtually drive 'through the Womo' due to the lack of noise protection. The permanent pitches, on the other hand, are a little further away from the road. The campsite is located directly on a busy road. The campsite has no restaurant and no grocery store. There is a grocery store (Netto) next door, but you have to cross... the busy road. The homepage states that there is a restaurant at the campsite. The homepage should therefore be updated urgently. Lovingly family-run site, in a quiet location and perfect for families. There are several free play areas (playground/vehicles/SUPs/sandpit on the shore), the lake is great and the sanitary facilities are very clean. A supermarket is within walking distance and the center of Augsburg is less than 15 minutes away by public transport.
As a guest you feel completely at ease!

It is only 10 km by bike to the Lech in Ausgsburg, which is definitely worth a visit.
There is a swimming lake right next to the campsite, which... is also great for children.
there are also lots of tricycles to hire (free of charge), the children whizz around the campsite from about half past seven in the morning, unfortunately also directly past the tent meadow (almost right past your head).

Unfortunately, the main road is quite loud, at least in the area of the sanitary building sometimes unpleasantly loud. In the area of the comfort pitches directly on the lake, it is only discreetly... audible.
The price (in terms of value for money) is in the upper, still tolerable range.
