Caravans and motorhomes are also permitted on the campsite. The site is a large meadow with little shade but good grass. The old town of Straubing is within easy walking distance,... just a few hundred meters away. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean, the scullery was unfortunately less clean. Free WLAN.
Attached to the campsite is a restaurant with a beer garden, where you can eat well and at a reasonable price; there is also a good Straubing "Karmeliten" beer.
