We stayed at the Bannwaldsee campsite for 9 days. It was already raining cats and dogs on the day we arrived. The Cp store is well stocked and has a good hygiene concept, which also works. you notice this when you get the bread rolls early in the morning.
The campsite is ideal as a starting point for... excursions, bike tours and hikes. The lake is also very beautiful and clean. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Unfortunately, stand-up paddlers are not allowed on the lake. But there are pedal boats.
The restaurant is also very good and can be recommended.
I can only say "super" about the staff. All super friendly and helpful.
Conclusion: We would come again.

The lake, playground, restaurants and the peace and quiet.
Negatívumok
The garbage area could be cleaner. Some permanent campers on the lakeshore should be reminded to take better care of their site.
Very friendly, quiet location
We came across the campsite by chance. We were very satisfied. We all liked it (family with a child 9 years and dog).

Nice and quiet
It was a very relaxing time in the beautiful, quiet surroundings. Very nice operators and campers. A beautiful lake and hardly anyone around.

Good+in the forest+by the lake
In front of the actual campsite is a large green area with plenty of space and several water points for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The infrastructure is open to all guests. It is only a short walk to the Großer Kolpiner See. Walking around it is an easy exercise. We used the site as a starting point for a visit to the Rauener Berge and for our relaxation. We and our dogs were very satisfied.

This site can be reached via a well-maintained dirt track, but is not suitable for low-slung cars. Very quiet location, only permanent campers. The sanitary facilities are very spacious and clean, unfortunately there are no breakfast rolls. Pitches approx. 20 but I don't want to commit myself. Electricity... and water are available. You get a key for all the facilities, for which you have to pay a 10 euro deposit, but this is offset again when you leave and pay.
