Well shaded pitch near Montpellier
Well-shaded, spacious and therefore quiet campsite, which unfortunately consists mainly of mobile homes and therefore only has a few pitches (around 50 perhaps?) for tourists. However, these are all equipped with private sanitary facilities (spacious rain shower, WC, outdoor sink).

The accessibility... of the paths is ok, but somewhat difficult with larger caravans or motorhomes due to the tight radii at junctions, so it may be worth doing an extra lap.
Setting up on the gravelled pitch can also be difficult: We had a pitch with mobile homes on the other side of the path (last row at the end of the pitch), so maneuvering was restricted, even with our rather short caravan (6m). In addition, all pitches are marked out by kerbs of different heights, some up to 6-7 cm high. Without a mover (which was defective) or helping hands, it was impossible to park, so we had to park backwards in a car, which put a lot of strain on the clutch. Of course, the pitch allocated to us is only one of the few of its kind, but it is helpful to know if you have a choice of pitches. In our case, however, all the spaces were occupied or reserved.

Despite the low season (mid-April, French school vacations), the bathing facilities were in operation and the bar/restaurant was also open at certain times, at least in the evening, with some children's entertainment. The center of Montpellier is just over 30 minutes away by bus and streetcar. Please note: The bus timetable is different during school vacations. Baguettes/croissants are available to order from 9 (!) am at reception. Unfortunately, we were not informed of the obligation to order when we checked in. Otherwise a professional operation, friendly staff.

Some things have improved significantly compared to the old reviews from 2012/2016, but obviously not everything when I think of the paths and curbs.

Very narrow paths, very winding course, the speed brakes on the paths very high and short, nothing for lowered cars.
Not again!
Not particularly helpful staff at reception, who also behaved rather snootily. We had to pay a €300 deposit for a campsite, but only with a check please! This would not have been possible without our French friends, as neither identity cards nor cash were accepted. The restaurant was also closed (in May!), a miserable stay.

Positive: Nice reception at the reception. Large pitches with private sanitary facilities. Negative: Paths far too narrow. High kerb in front of the pitch. Overall very unkempt site. Conclusion: Never again
