When we were looking for a place to stay overnight, we stood just before his driveway to the campsite. Nobody wanted to leave - nobody wanted to go, and I stayed in the camper to be able to drive away if necessary. The older man immediately came over with a bright red head and ordered me to drive away in a harsh tone. If I hadn't booked with him, I wasn't allowed to park here. Even the objection that we hadn't booked at all and were looking, possibly with him, didn't help. Matthias Z.luglio 2014Pozitívumok- Located directly on the lake - good beach with some fine gravel - many pizzerias nearby - shopping facilities right next to the campsiteNegatívumok- many services cost extra - Lively place - no music in the WC ;(Good place on Lake ComoSmall but lively campsite in summer. Dominated by Dutch and Swiss people. The site has three entrances to the lake, which are locked at night so that you don't have to worry about your dinghy. Unfortunately, we had a pitch right on the northern border, with permanent campers from the neighboring campsite... right next to it at a distance of zero meters. Fire protection? Many paid extras: - Wifi costs extra and is very slow and hardly usable. - You have to bring your own toilet paper. - Shower tokens for 1 euro for 4 minutes of showering. There is hardly any peace and quiet due to trucks constantly emptying garbage containers, waste glass or other items on the neighboring pitch, lawnmowers or steam jets at the toilet block. The bar on the campsite is not really inviting. Hardly anyone sits here. A bit impersonal but still friendly and helpful.
